Boxing is such a reactionary sport especially as these guys usually only fight twice a year.

One loss don't define a career but I have to say if he loses the rematch it's hard to see where he will go at that point.

Of course he can still bounce back!

I do NOT think he will become the next Buster Douglas because Ruiz just kod back to back giants in last 2 fights. I was 1 of only 10 ppl on this site who picked Ruiz to at least make it the distance.(I picked him to get robbed in a decision just like V parker & he was on track to being robbed by the usual crooked judges at msg as evidenced by AJ somehow only being down by 1 rd & being up on 1 card somehow)

I was trolled incessantly & had my manhood attacked at every turn by AJ diehards for ages because I would constantly say that brits were clinging to AJ despite him not being nearly as good as they thought & that he certainly did duck Wilder in 18' (but Wilder had already returned the ducking by signing vs Ortiz a week before Saturday)so it especially disgusts me that Ruiz isn't given his credit despite having arguably the best resume at hw now instantly.

I think Ruiz beats Wilder & becomes undisputed because Wilder is completely 1 dimensional & Fury would likely get kod as well because he hits hard but not THAT hard.
You think a one sided dominate win over Parker is less than a loss to Parker? You're clearly smoking some good shlt in celebration. Just take it easy on that stuff because it looks strong from where i'm sitting.

Ruiz is the best at the weight until proven otherwise. You're right about that.

Ruiz would have about as much chance of beating Fury as you have of climbing mount Everest in flip flops. Don't go crazy now. Fury would use foot work and distance to win every single round. And AJ made the mistake of trying to finish him by hooking on the inside with him and getting caught by the faster hook and moving into it. He won't be doing that in the rematch.

Your definitely right that Hearns already wining & dining the ref so he can stop it as soon as AJ flurries. I told my wife after the 2nd kd that I know that look anywhere from yrs of being a ski patroler/paramedic/etc. & That AJ likely had a brain bleed or concussion (luckily it wasn't a subdural hematoma as I was worried, but apparently he was concussed) that being said I don't think AJ will ever regain his belts legitimately unless he changes trainers because he is too slow for Ruiz who fights like a extremely fast hw hes more like an extremely obese middleweight.

I think Wilder has the best chance against Ruiz because he can put his lights out with 1 good punch. But Ruiz has made a true believer out of me after watching him for many yrs now,hes very fast & speed causes punches to hurt far worse than they would delivered more slowly, while his rolls of lard allow him to absorb punishment extremely well.

I don't see any similarities with buster doe, buster was much slower than ruiz & was lucky Tyson was smaller than him imho. In ruiz' case he has kod literally 6'8" giants back to back. Thats as impressive as it comes.

We'll have to see how AJ performs in the rematch to really know where he's at. Everything else is just speculation.

But many Heavyweights that go down in history get beat by the much lesser fighter. Look at Joe Louis getting beat up and knocked out by a finished Max Schmelling. Wlad against Brewster. Lewis against McCall. Shlt like this can happen. This isn't a new thing.

Ruiz is as slow as mole asses. It's just his hands that are fast.

Buster had the talent but not the mind set. It was through his mother dying that he never let the fight get to him mentally like he did in the past. He was basically on auto pilot against Tyson.

His footspeed is almost right on par with fury imho, watch how fast he runs to the nuetral corner after each kd & how fast he retreats out of the pocket vs AJ when countering. He fights a lot like prime Tyson imho,& he even said he was studying tape on tyson. I will make a video later on that demonstrates how fast/skilled fatboy truly is & how he fights similar to Canelo in certain ways even, in that he relies on potshot counter flurries that take advantage of his superior handspeed.

Your right that his punches are much faster than he is but thats really all that matters.

I will concede 1 important point though,AJ's trainer is atrocious & that definitely played a factor because AJ fights like hes the smaller guy with physical disadvantages instead of utilizing his size/power to better suit him. He needs to hire a trainer that will focus on defense, speed & dirty infighting

I'm not sure how Joshua wins the rematch right now as Jnr will be even tougher to beat second time around. He has the psychological edge and will improve his conditioning, improve everything he does. Joshua has a mountain to climb.

Joshua has been hurt in a lot of fights recently. He seems so stiff and slow to react after being hurt. Hard to see him having consistent success after this loss like Klitschko or Louis did. I hope he does bounce back though and figures out what to do when he's hurt. I like his attitude and I think it's good for boxing compared to the WWE style nonsense that some boxers give in interviews.

Ruiz is also underrated by some. Has heart and he's a solid fast puncher. I had him winning against Parker.
