Got 6 mths to make necessarily adjustment to beat Ruiz but fury or wilder I'm afraid is out of his reach , just.a cash out fight if he comes through the rematch .

He'll have the same legacy as Buster Douglas. A one hit wonder, who did the impossible then disappeared.

Ruiz is a few cheesecakes away from type 2 diabetes. He won't last long.
To be fair, the Parker decision was very debatable. But who is truly elite these days. Not AJ after this. Not Wilder, getting hes ears boxed completely off from a badly degraded Fury. Not Fury, who could collapse back into the depths of depression and obesity at any moment. There's no clear top man at heavyweight now.

With Wilder lets also not forget that a football player had him Completely clueless & dumbfounded as to what to do for most the fight(Gerald Washington),With Fury he was kd by pajkic then again by Cunningham (👏), Thats why I keep telling everyone Ruiz just might end up becoming the diamond in the rough right under everyone's noses that just surpassed the rest instantly. No other heavies have done what Ruiz did in koing 2 giants back to back even if one wasn't elite. How can ppl understate what Ruiz has done despite his appearance hes a very skilled, top amatuer pedigree heavyweight with a solid resume just off his loss & AJ alone.

Watch round 5 to 7 vs Klitschko again. After Klitschko went down in the 5th, he got Joshua with a lot of flush, hellacious bombs later in the round and almost had him, leading to putting Joshua down heavily in the 6th. But in the 7th, Joshua was reasonably recovered and able to bounce on his feet again.

Compare that to Ruiz where Joshua never really recovered from the hit above the ear in the third. Maybe a different type of concussion, but Joshua has shown recovery in the past, but not this time.

Actually, Joshua in the 7th vs Klitschko looked better that Joshua in the first vs Ruiz ! Something else going on beyond being chinny.

If Ortiz had a better gas tank we’d have said the same thing about Wilder.

Both Wilder and Joshua could have a better chin. Fury is better and tough to beat.

Personally I think this might be good for Joshua. You can’t take anyone lightly and if you have a chin issue you have to learn how to fight like Wlad or become David Price.

Congratulations to Andy Ruiz. Goddamn I’d enjoy him cleaning up the division against all the giants.

Ruiz is the best at the weight until proven otherwise. You're right about that.

Ruiz would have about as much chance of beating Fury as you have of climbing mount Everest in flip flops. Don't go crazy now. Fury would use foot work and distance to win every single round. And AJ made the mistake of trying to finish him by hooking on the inside with him and getting caught by the faster hook and moving into it. He won't be doing that in the rematch.
I was wondering if anyone else caught that. AJ was attempting to hook on the inside with a hooker. The adjustments aren't major, stop looking for a KO. Not every right hand has to be a fully extended, max power shot. Touch him often with the right hand and pull it back quick to block the counter. Every once in a good while use power when it's not expected so as not to be too predictable and just box at a proper distance. Klitschko made some of the same adjustments with great success. It's not complicated, these are not big adjustments. Mark my words, AJ will have a game plan, make the adjustments and beat Ruiz easy.

Ortiz is about 90 and that's the only reason he gets a rematch.

As with the other 3 the mirage of invincibility no longer exists in the opponent therefore the fear factor is gone. Huge mental advantage. Now opponents will go for the area above the ear without as much fear. Joshua has to garner a strong will to win like his life depends on it and learn to fight like a big man, land a power jab hold then throw a strong 1 2. Fight safe and use his size advantage. If does this he can come back. If not AJ becomes Audley Joshua.
