Ruiz is probably thinking like this. He should because he can do it, he's good enough to get it done. He's confident, he can box, he had endurance and he has fast hands. A guy with a solid chin, big b@lls and fast counters is a dangerous dangerous man.

Ruiz will obviously come back with belief rightly so, but its not like its a great mystery how Joshua could beat him, for as bad as Joshua looked from the first bell he did drop Ruiz first.

Whatever was going on with Joshua, if there is any truth to the rumors about sparring/panic attacks etc or just the pressure of trying for a highlight reel KO to match Wilder or just fighting dumb in trading after the the knockdown, without taking anything away from Ruiz I kind of feel the stars did align for him.

But with his head right, 100% I think Joshua could easily win the rematch without any help from the ref or score cards, not saying it happens but it doesn't take much imagination to see Joshua take center of the ring, use his jab & reach and win UD or late KO.Comment

Does your opinion makes you a hater?I am in no way a AJ fan, but Glenn McCory is the definition of a paper champ and hater. He won a vacant belt against a “prospect” with 10 total fights. He then proceeded to get knocked out 2 fights later to a perceived journeyman in Jeff Lampkin. I’m not gonna even go in depth about his embarrassing KO to Lennox Lewis in his farcical bid for the British title. He is the real joke, AJ has already achieved more than he has/will in boxing.Comment

His foot speed is on par with Fury? Just watch how fast he runs to the corner after the KD's? He's like a prime Mike Tyson? His footspeed is almost right on par with fury imho, watch how fast he runs to the nuetral corner after each kd & how fast he retreats out of the pocket vs AJ when countering. He fights a lot like prime Tyson imho,& he even said he was studying tape on tyson. I will make a video later on that demonstrates how fast/skilled fatboy truly is & how he fights similar to Canelo in certain ways even, in that he relies on potshot counter flurries that take advantage of his superior handspeed.

Your right that his punches are much faster than he is but thats really all that matters.

I will concede 1 important point though,AJ's trainer is atrocious & that definitely played a factor because AJ fights like hes the smaller guy with physical disadvantages instead of utilizing his size/power to better suit him. He needs to hire a trainer that will focus on defense, speed & dirty infighting

Holy f3ck, you actually did write this.

 We'll leave it here I think.Comment

Learn to read, you qouted me twice & misquoted both times. He FIGHTS like a prime mike tyson in his style. Aren't you the same assclown who was going around screaming from the rooftops about how great AJ is & getting angry at those claiming otherwise like myself? Yeah your the last person to listen to when it comes to boxing iq. Mike Tyson wishes he had a scalp on his mantle like AJs(instead of c levels). Ruiz literally is on record saying he studies Tyson before the fight & anyone whos watched them both should know Ruizs styles similar to Tysons.Last edited by kushking; 06-03-2019, 07:56 PM.Comment

AJ just wanted to make headlines in the US on his debut and try and outdo Wilder with his stoppage 2 weeks ago. That was ****** because Brezeale is tall and easy to get to. Ruiz has much better defence and chin and is shorter which troubles AJ a bit.I was wondering if anyone else caught that. AJ was attempting to hook on the inside with a hooker. The adjustments aren't major, stop looking for a KO. Not every right hand has to be a fully extended, max power shot. Touch him often with the right hand and pull it back quick to block the counter. Every once in a good while use power when it's not expected so as not to be too predictable and just box at a proper distance. Klitschko made some of the same adjustments with great success. It's not complicated, these are not big adjustments. Mark my words, AJ will have a game plan, make the adjustments and beat Ruiz easy.

But yeah, he'll have a full camp with the opponent set and will need a proper game plan. How he deals with the loss though remains to be seen.Comment

Wow. Pride is one tough pill to swallow, ain't it? Guessing you didn't enjoy that piece of sweet humble pie last Saturday? Funny how you have Ruiz's life all figured out, but you're probably an armchair warrior a few keystrokes away from a heart attack. The sad truth is Ruiz is more fit than you (most of us for that matter) and you don't have the ba11s to say this to his face. It's ironic that cowardice is common in these threads, as opposed to common sense. He's part right.

Andy Ruiz is not an elite HW. Elite HWs don't lose to Joseph Parker. Nor will he be remembered as a great.

He'll have the same legacy as Buster Douglas. A one hit wonder, who did the impossible then disappeared.

Ruiz is a few cheesecakes away from type 2 diabetes. He won't last long.Comment
