Mexican parents, fought for Mexico as an amateur, says he's Mexican. Who the **** are you to say he isn't?Comment
-
Yes they should
if they're not born and bred in Mexico then they're not real mexicans
they're chicanos/ pochos/ mexican-americans
Canelo and Gallo Estrada are mexicans
DLH, Robert Guerrero, Mikey Garcia, Andy Ruiz, Rios, etc
they're not mexicans and they're never gonna be
as things are now, Murica controls the HW division
its like saying Miguel Cotto is not full blown puerto rican cuz he was born in rhode island

Nah it was directed at a piece of crap (forgot the username) who wanted him kicked out the country before the fight since Ruiz saying he was going to win for Mexico triggered him yet when Andy won the piece of $h1t was like USA USA like stfu lame you wanted him deported before the fightComment

To me his pandering to the Mexican base seems fake. Marquez sad Mikey wasn't like them and I assume they feel the same about Ruiz.Comment

there are many mexicans-americans that dont feel mexican, never been in mexico and dont care for ****t about mexico, some of them even threat mexicans with disrespect, my self i was born in the US, my father is a US citizen, i currently work in the US and pay my taxes every year without ever asking for benefits in return nor for me or my family, but i was raised in mexico and i consider my self more mexican than american, it really isnt about the piece of land where you are born, its about that piece of land in your heart, the culture, the people arund you, etc...
not saying everyones case is the same, but from what i can see in ruiz, he feels mexican and thats all that matters...Comment

and if he has dual citizenship guess what that means?
