AJ has to physically improve his stamina and then make significant adjustments to his style to be able to beat Ruiz. Ruiz also has faster hands which AJ can really only adjust for but not completely negate. Its a tall order.
Have to admit I’ve hardly seen Ruiz fight but the guy is relentless

Watched Parker Ruiz and he was still slinging combos in the 12th round

Bad style match up for sure . Like you said he’s gonna have to make serous adjustments to get through a rematch . Good fight though and that’s why we love boxing especially the heavys . One punch can turn any fight on it’s head

      That’s good to hear

AJ was gracious in defeat but the part i didn’t like At the post fight was him not
Saying if he wanted the rematch that it’s up to Hearn to decide. Well I guess Hearn wants that rematch so now AJ wants the rematch

People over reacting to this L

Almost every Fighter loses, It may not always be to a late replacement who didn’t give a chance but it happens especially in the HW division

How AJ reacts from this L Is all that matters.

It wasn't a good thing for Wilder that he was too scared to fight in the UK and KO'd Joshua while still undefeated.

Wilder was barking all of this "I'll come to your backyard" rubbish. Still hasn't fought a decent opponent outside of the US. At least Joshua fought a top 10 Heavyweight outside of the UK even though he got exposed as the hype job that real boxing fans knew he was.

Wilder is even scared to fight Fury in the UK also.

Joshua work on your endurance bro. You went in for the kill too soon. Watch some of Mayweather's matches and study him. Mayweather preserved his energy for the entire 12 rounds. You dint have to win in spectacular fashion. Your not Wilder. If the knockout comes great. You gave up too much length last night on the smaller guy.
I hope you come back stronger and more effective next fight.
One last thing, did you ever find that mouth piece. Ruiz was all in your mouth as if you took that very last snicker at WaWa

You’re always doing too much like a b!tch. Did you **** your girl?

Relax, it’s boxing and losing is always inevitable. Just because Mayweather orchestrated his career to end with an 0, that doesn’t mean that’s how boxing is. Even Mayweather with his cherry picking could’ve lost to Maidana, the bell saved him.

Hopefully, now everyone can see why Team Joshua made lowball offers to all credible candidates. Hearn out smarted himself this time...lol. He was trying to make AJ as much $$$ as possible per fight b/c he knew of his glass jaw. They should've just split 50/50 with Wilder and cashed out with a 9 figure payday!

Also, a lot of us (including myself) had Ruiz winning the Parker fight.
Spot on man. When he landed that body shot, I felt like it took whatever fight and stamina AJ had left. There were a few wicked body shots by Andy in that 6th round but that one was especially brutal. I think it's what created the knockdowns and the stoppage in the following round.

Focus, conditioning and fighting behind a stiff jab in the rematch should get the job done.

Get your belts back, fight Fury and then Wilder, and retire with your brain intact.

Really, the same could be said of Wilder. He could have taken the AJ fight and made more than he has ever made for a fight. Had Wilder won, and there's a good chance he would have; he could have granted a rematch and made even more They both lost alot of potential earnings last night and both are to blame for that.
