The sport won't allow a blubber body to be a champ of note.
    I understand...

On another hand: AJ had the opportunity to punish that "blubber body" in the later rounds, last night... And what AJ did?... He crumbled under the pressure... Well...

Pulev vs Anybody is a borefest. It's Kubrat Pulev. I was hoping he would retire after he had to pull out of the last AJ fight.

I still see the IBF stripping Ruiz if he takes the rematch though. It will be in the divisions best interest to have 3 champs, unfortunately. I'm kind of expecting Fury to somehow fall into that vacant #2 spot in the IBF rankings once he beats Schwartz (though that's more the WBO's schtick)
Either way I hope all the belts are in one place, the ducking that Wilder was doing would probably stop now. I want one person to clean up everything. Whether it’s Ruiz, Fury or Wilder. Am just glad everyone’s money has been fucked up now. That’s what happens when you let fights marinate.

It's the best thing for boxing. I was hoping that an hour after Joshua hit the canvas that Crawford/Spence would be announced

And there’s no way they would risk that. The only way Joshua gets a foothold in the division again is rematch and win otherwise they risk someone like Wilder getting the Ruiz fight and possibly getting every belt.

Also, you have to wonder where Joshua’s stock is now. Obviously he will still be a big draw and a good payday for anyone, but a lot of his fan base are not boxing fans and they will be fickle. His ticket sales in the UK have been getting slower and slower anyway. I think now the casual fan base has seen the loss, it might be that bit harder to sell out these stadiums against just anybody. That’s the problem when your support is made up of people who follow your stardom, not boxing.

If the paydays are not quite the same, it might not be quite as easy to tempt fighters over to put their belt on the line.

In my opinion, his next fight and the outcome will determine whether he remains the money man in the division or just becomes another heavyweight. The fall could be as quick the rise.

Holyfield fought Tyson even after he knocked him out, and Holyfield fought PR Ruiz three times back to back!

Titles stripped, its a contract for a reason you must follow the agreed terms. He's basically already agreed to the fight, so he is failing to meet his end of the deal.

AJ wasn't into this fight. Him knocking Andy down lit his fire but the way he went about following it up was pitiful.

After he got knocked down, it was a wrap.

Other than the knock down punches, did AJ land a single combo ?
