It seems that Ruiz is Joshua's worst nightmare. He took a count from a terrific shot and came back stronger. He beat Joshua to the punch almost every time Joshua opened up and threw. He was patient and was way in front of Josh in all departments .Leaving Joshua to ask McCracken what Ruiz was going to do next!
Wilder didn't need to talk like this as it was plain to see.Joshua should avoid fighting Ruiz straight away and ignore Eddie Hearn. He needs to work on lots but it was frightening to hear McCrackens advice of jab right hand to solve the Ruiz problem ...but then Rob would know all the limitations.
Joshua will still be a part of the heavyweight picture and will come again i'm sure but they will now know what a short fat, decent fighter can do , they can.Comment

New champ
In his last fight Lennox Lewis was at ringside announcing the fight and I remember him saying this kid Ruiz punch’s have big time crack in them you can here it from here . Congratulations to Ruiz and to Mexico for its first heavyweight champ the only winners ! Not wilder or fury so all the fans should appreciate what this kid did to AJ !! Beat downComment

Wilder trying to benefit from this scenario - I don’t see how he can though
He is still the no.3 HW in the world, assuming Joshua drops below.
He has lost out on a huge payday, that he will never get the chance to earn again
Lost the spotlight for now. He attempted to steal it by announcing the Fury fight, but all eyes are on Ruiz now.
It’s so obvious that the Wilder team are trying to build up like they did with Joshua, but they are limited to what they are working with..Comment
