Totally unnecessary comment and it shows lack of class.

I would have preferred if Deontay took the high road. But having witnessed everything that’s transpired, knowing he views Joshua as someone who cowtows to whatever his promoter tells him, I suspected he might kick him while he was down. In the head. Hard.

        I agree with that !!

AJ was all class in defeat..... much like when he wins

I hope he works his way back

I think they should pass on the immediate rematch

that counter-punching was a real problem, one that they may not be able to overcome in just one camp

Classy stuff by Wilder. And that is why he dont have any fans and can get outsold by Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury in America. Its one thing mocking a guy for getting knocked out and losing but that was a fight YOU COULD OF HAD but bottled it and made a big list of other people to face instead.

For the sake of boxing safety ....can you imagine what Wilder would do to Joshua! I fully understand why Barry Hearn and Rob McCracken avoided Wilder now.

if you pass on the immediate rematch, does that void the rematch clause though?

                    Yes

Joshua has no choice but to rematch Ruiz
He needs to belts back for his economic value

Wilder literally is a contradiction, he described himself

Wilder is tailor made for Ruiz. Ruiz takes his out even easier.
