Originally posted by Jab jab boom View Postyou're still trying to deflect, your argument from that start has been that the uk is better at boxing. My response from the beginning has been "which country has more all time greats, hall of famers, and world champions". At the end of the day, that's what will determine superiority in boxing historically. I never said that ruiz beating Joshua is what made the US better. Don't twist s*** to try and fit your narrative. I've already given you tons of examples of US fighters beating UK fighters but as you said, the timing of the fights and fighters being out of their primes is a factor. So again, historically the best fighters that the uk has ever produced in their history can't hold a candle to the US. So the better way to assess it is to list the best fighters from your country over the past 40 yrs. If we go back to 1980, off the top of my head the US has had sugar ray Leonard, Hagler, hearns, Roy Jones, Mike Tyson, Hopkins, Larry Holmes, Floyd mayweather, Evander holyfield, as their best. I'm not even counting the current crop of fighters such as Crawford, spence or wilder because still more needs to be done to assess their careers. Now what has the uk put out that compares to that?? You shouldn't even be able to count Lewis for reasons that I mentioned, but aside from him, all I can think of is Calzaghe. If you dare to put names like Hatton, khan, bruno and Hamed next to the names that I mentioned, it's a complete joke.
I gave you a chance and you didn't prove me wrong. Thus, it's a fact we beat you most of the time we fight H2H over the last 40 years.

Prove I downplayed Duran like you said. You get one chance before we move onto the next topic.
As I say, i'm going to have real fun with you trying to wriggle out of backing up your words and giving me these so called "Facts"

That's not even something that can be searched up, so your unreasonable request is your way of trying to wiggle out of the debate. I've already given you multiple examples of head to head fights but you're expecting someone to spend hours online just to prove what everyone already knows, which is that you're an idiot. The simple solution was listing the best fighters from each country but you declined to do that because you know that it'd be laughable you to put amir khans names next to Ray Leonard's name. I'm laughing just typing their names in the same sentence. As far as Duran, my comment was that he alone has surpassed anything that your country has produced. You tried to diminish him by saying that he lost to a UK fighter as a means of saying that he isn't greater than what the uk has produced. But the simple question of who from your country was greater is a question that you choose to avoid. Just like everything i present. You just want to make up a challenge that you know would be impossible to follow up on while ducking the real and accurate way to end this debate once and for all.
I asked you to point out where I downplayed Duran. You couldn't do it yet again so have another fail. I merely pointed out that a Brit had beaten him, nothing more. You're the one who downplayed Laing by saying it was a SD and he was coming from a defeat. Neither did I put Khan alongside Leonard you dumb c4nt.
It's also easy to find out the results over the last 40 years by going to the Wales, Scotland, England and Northern Ireland champions on boxrec and looking through them in that time period for wins at world level.

Lennox Lewis is British. He was born and raised here. The reason he started boxing was due to Canadians taking the piss out of his accent so he gave them a beating. It was then put to him to try boxing as he seemed good at fighting.
Being a champ is something you either have, or you don't. That's why you don't see many fighters becoming ATG's just because they have a good trainer or what not. It's something inside of you. All the training can do is hone your natural gifts. You can't teach them.
Is Wlad not credited as being a Ukranian champ because Manny was there to perfect him or something? Is the Women's Soccer team not world champions because their coach is English? Does Michael Jackson get no credit for Thriller because an English man wrote the song? Or maybe due to Quincy Jones being the producer for so many of his songs?
Is Pacquiao not really filipino due to American Freddie Roach?
What you're saying is preposterous. But as I say, we both know why you're saying it because you don't want Lennox to be British like so many Americans in the past have done because you just want to discredit us with any chance you get. The same was done with AJ and calling him Nigerian even though he was born and raised here too.
He's a Brit, full stop. Regardless of you desperately hoping he wasn't and trying to make out otherwise.

Lennox Lewis move from the uk at 12 yrs old in 77. He began fighting as an amateur in Canada in 1983. Every national tournament from Pam American games to the Olympics, he represented Canada. The main trainer that he's associated with as a pro was American. So what exactly should the uk take credit for? For being his fans? His situation is vastly different to Klitchko and pac. You're reaching trying to compare the scenarios but I know that's what people do when they're outgunned as you are.
Once I've finished schooling you on your supposed "Facts", i'll answer anything you want like I always do. But hold that deflection though for now.

You said AJ had come from the minor leagues when he went over there and fought Ruiz. How can this be so when he's fought and beaten better and higher ranking fighters than Ruiz? It can't be due to America being the mecca of boxing because it isn't any more and hasn't been for many years. But even if that was so, that doesn't explain the quality of fighters because you said "League". Which means quality of competition, not location. And it can't be due to the fight being at MSG, because Wembley is a lot more famous than MSG. In fact, MSG isn't really that famous any more like it was with past generations. They knew the place because of boxing and nothing else. And due to boxing not having the same pull over the last few decades, the younger generation don't care for it because it's just another arena like any other so it doesn't hold any value for them. Webley however is world famous due to Football being the biggest sport in the world. And then you have Rugby too which spreads the name of the stadium even further across the world.
So please, embarrass yourself again by explaining yourself.
I'm really enjoying taking you apart and watching you delude yourself like the idiot you clearly are. But this answer or deflection will be golden. Just like always, hey? Haha.
Now get to it.

So take another L. Now onto the hype job known as Aj. I referred to the uk as the minor leagues. The USA has always been and remains the mecca for boxing. Maybe not for heavyweight boxing in a while during the extremely boring Klitchko era, but overall, the US has always had the biggest stars and best talent. That's why Aj finally was forced to come over here and once he left the comfort of home and came to the mecca, he couldn't cut it because he's weak mentally. You can base his opposition on rankings but rankings mean nothing. He was pampered and spoiled and once he was faced with true adversity vs someone who wouldn't take their foot off the gas like old Klitchko did, he folded like a lawn chair. Lastly, as far as saying msg isn't famous anymore, you're just a moron. It is without a doubt the most famous sports arena in the world. What would some UK schmuck like you know about what the garden means? Now aside from the legendary history dating back to Joe Louis, Ali vs Frazier, Duran, Boxing has remained strong there. Aj vs ruiz just happened there, Canelo just fought there in December, Cotto and Trinidad have sold it out countless times over the past 2 eras, Roy Jones vs Calzaghe happened there, lennox Lewis fought there vs holyfield, Rid**** bowe has fought there, pernell Whitaker.... and aside from boxing, it's constantly filled up for basketball games, hockey games and concerts. So you comparing your Pos rugby field to that is laughable, just like everything else you post. You should take a lesson from Joshua and just quit, you've been knocked down enough times.
You've schooled no one other than in your own backwards mind. Every topic you've been slayed but the delusion has been strong with you. But as I say, isn't it always the case with you?
It isn't opinion that Lewis is a Brit, it's a fact. Hold this L like all the others and deal with it.
We're talking about AJ and the Heavyweight division you dumb f3ck. You're here talking about other divisions and other stars. AJ was fighting in the most famous stadium in the world against better and higher ranking fighters but you called it the "Minor leagues" which clearly isn't true you f3cking idiot. Now you're saying rankings don't matter? Hahahahaha. How do you value a league without rankings? That's how it all works. But you're desperately thrashing about and talking about being mentally weak and what not because you don't have a valid answer. You're clearly one of the most pathetic people I've ever come across.
AJ was pampered and spoiled now was he? In what way?
Prove MSG is still the most famous arena in the world? Present generations don't know or care for it. Why would they? Talking about Ali is like me saying the cavern club in Liverpool is still world famous because it's where the Beatles started. Most people in the world don't know about the cavern club other than those who live in Liverpool and those who love the Beatles world wide. But it isn't world famous any more. Times change you pleb.
No one gives a f3ck about Basketball world wide, it's a shlt sport. And who cares about Ice Hockey? MSG would just be like any other arena when it comes to playing concerts. There's many arenas over here and in the rest of the world that host concerts. It doesn't mean they're the worlds most famous arena.
Wembley is a POS Rugby field? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha What a wanker. Rugby is actually played internationally unlike your shlt sports no one gives a damn about. Then you have the biggest sport in the world being played there too. But you think it's laughable to compare in to an arena no one takes any notice of any more? Hahahahahaha. Thanks for the laughs.
I think i'll stick with this topic for a little while because there's plenty of more laughs to come. You sad deluded little nobody. It's great to see you pump your chest out and fail miserably.

I wish you would make this challenging but I feel as if I'm picking on a handicapped midget.
Every topic you've failed at. But I want to continue with this one for a little while.
I proved Lewis was a Brit by the fact he actually is. Show me otherwise if he's not?
How is a league proven if not by ranking?
