Dillian had been the wbc mandatory for a long time and the wbc made him step away so that Wilder would fight Tyson fury instead , and then they moved him down on the rankings and magically placed Dominic breazele as #1 contender smh, do your research don't just go by what you hear
The WBC ordered a final eliminator between Whyte and Ortiz and Whyte never took it.

BoxingScene.com has been advised that the World Boxing Council has ordered heavyweights Luis Ortiz and Dillian Whyte to take part in a WBC final eliminator. The winner would become the mandatory challenger to WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs).

Breazeal became mandatory by beating Molina. It was a weak eliminator but Breazeal did his eliminator, Whyte didn't.

British heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte is furious with the World Boxing Council, after reading on their website that Saturday's fight, between Dominic Breazeale and Eric Molina, is a WBC sanctioned final eliminator for a crack at world champion Deontay Wilder. Breazeale vs. Molina takes place as part of the undercard at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. In the main event, Wilder fights Stiverne in a rematch.

Ortiz is no joke and he was my number one opponent for Joshua to fight which he was offered a lot of money to do so. Wilder has nothing to prove fighting him again but obviously to you it’s a dream fight.

This thread is about Wilder and yet here you are discussing AJ. I give Wilder his dues he wanted the Fury rematch but this is some bulls#hit and PPV .smh
You guys was claiming wilder got extra time to recover, ref should of stopped fight etc..... Now that he rematching Ortiz it’s a problem he has nothing to prove but yet a lot of posters had no problem with aj rematching Whyte........

He only has to compete with it in a business sense.

In terms of rankings and belts he's comfortable number one.

            2 fighting 3 doesn't change that.

He is. He's doing everything in his power to stay away from the real champ and number 1. Before Fury, he's fighting a dead beat who hasn't done anything in his career to date. Since the last fight, Ortiz has looked like garbage against complete stiffs. There's no need for it. The AJ fight was right there that everyone wants, but Wilder chose to fight Ortiz again instead.

That's a punk if ever I saw one. Nothing is going to change that.

Stop spreading your poison and making a fool of yourself. It's embarrassing. AJ is one of the most tested athletes in the world.

Do any Wilder fans have any redeeming quality's?

Don't make it too obvious otherwise we'll see the desperation. Too late.

Wilder chose Ortiz again when no one wanted it. The AJ fight was right there. Your coward ran as per usual. But don't worry, Wilder will keep on saying "He's the realist" all the time now because he knows. Oh he knows alright. He's also making it too obvious.

He's talking about Wilder and Finkle refusing to fight AJ as there was no date or venue. But Wilder has made fights since with no date or venue on the contract. He's pointing out their hypocrisy and lies.
