Wilder will fight Ortiz in Autumn 2019. Then Jan or Feb 2020 the second Fury fight. One of them is most likely gonna lose the rematch. Do they have a rematch clause? I bet at least Wilder does. If he loses most likely he will exercise it right away. Meaning their 3rd fight will be around May-June 2020. If he prevails, he will fight AJ no earlier than Autumn 2020. You can relax until then boys. Wilder is shooting himself in the foot and gambles the chance for an enormous payday and legacy. His overconfidence will play against him and I feel we might never see this fight, at least while Wilder is still in his prime.

He is ducking no two ways about it. You can try and sugarcoat it whichever way you want but he is ducking the undisputed fight.

Wilder/Fury II is the fight I've been asking for since they declared the first one a draw. My only complaint is the fights in between, but if that's what had to happen to get Fury and Wilder to get it done, then so be it. I don't view it as a duck because it's the fight I prefer haha.

Well then if many people thought he had more time to recover he is doing the right thing then? I don’t need to listen to other people’s opinions to form my own opinion. When Wilder fought Ortiz Ortiz was a problem. Wilder has beaten that danger out of him now. The only reason I was gassed to see AJ vs Ortiz as I wanted to see if AJ can dispose of him as Wilder did. There is absolutely no justification for Wilder fighting Ortiz when Wilder has bigger challenges awaiting him. As for AJ vs Whyte I never wanted to see that fight, ever. Whyte is a c+ / B-fighter

So has Deontay Wilder and his team set a new precedent for boxing? From what I can recall during my time as a fight fan, this has got to be the first time I've personally witnessed an announcement for 2 consecutive contractually signed and sealed matches with 2 different opponents win or lose, less than 2 weeks since the principal fighters last victory. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
If this recent undertaking is somehow recieved by the boxing public as a positive event, I suppose it will pave the way for future boxers to implement something similar if they were in need of an acceptable method to avoid a specific fight. Hell, why not have fighters make a preset schedule of fights with predetermined opponents for their next 5 or 10 yrs regardless of who or when/if they lose?
Since we'd know what we're getting, it would definitely eliminate the frustrations that arise from anticipating a possible must see matchup getting flushed down the toilet.

What ever it takes to duck Joshua but try make it look its not actually ducking but like it's all part of a big plan.

This is team wilder trying to gain a bit of respect back cuz they are getting loads of abuse and everybody calling them duckers. But they think by getting all this info out just before Joshua and hearn get to ridicule them on mic after the ruiz fight they have covered their backs. Right now team wilder look like they are in some sort of panic mode cuz they know what's coming at them verbally.
