  • Ok, so Wilder is not actively pursuing being undisputed, not pursuing putting his closest rivals to bed, not pursuing putting his name at the end of that question to the general public - who is the heavyweight champion?

Everything on hold. eff this generation of heavyweights, they all suck. They're all putting boxing to shame.

He's doing his part along with the rest of them to put the history of boxing to shame.

There is something bigger than petty schoolyard politics. Though admittedly this forum may make some believe that childish politics is actually a worthwhile and valid part of life or boxing.

when will these fighters realize just because Floyd and manny who were juggernauts who fought down the line after one lost/got KTFO it still had big demand when they fight that won’t be the case with them.
I agree, they are all pissing time away at the expense of everyone else. It's the most shameful avoidance by the belt holders to face eachother in the history.
The brands are now more important than boxing itself. it's embarrassing.

To the retards Wilder is aiming this crap at, it all makes perfect retarded sense!
Wow Wilder has reached a new level of ******ity or should I say his fans that ride with that statement of Ortiz. This is like reaching a level that should be impossible.

At this point his fans need to be slapped or punched in the face they're so ****** . lol

To use Ortiz as the reason why the fights not happening and AJ hasnt even fought Ruiz yet to even discuss a Wilder fight afterwards .Boy did Wilder grab Ortiz as a shield though before AJ could call him out tommorow

There is nothing more to say to this. You have said it all.

            • We know why he passed on AJ, he's completely terrified of getting destroyed. There is no need for Wilder to continue lying, to continue humiliating himself like he's been doing........doesn't he have at least the tiniest modicum of self-respect?

Do you really think that Wilder would commit to a undisputed showdown with Joshua without a rematch clause? That's what he was screaming about last year that was missing from one of Hearn's original offers.

You know DAZN approached Wilder because of his comments about not being signed to any platform, right?

You also know that Joshua nor Eddie Hearn were directly involved in the $100m offer negotiations, right?

I think you are overestimating how many people are going to watch Wilder v Ortiz 2. I cannot see how Wilder is going to earn anywhere close to $100m...ever. He's 33, nearly 34 when he fights Ortiz again. He'll retire before making that kind of money.

If Wilder's comment about 'knowing the big fights weren't going to happen this year' isn't enough to make you stop and wonder why he knows that, then I worry for you man.
Actually I am not committed to backing Wilder only to backing reality. Wilder had concerns about the two DAZN offers. Venues, referees, judges, etc. His concerns were never addressed further reinforcing the point that the offers were either bogus or so one sided that Wilder had to decline them. Should he have signed and sold his soul like Marvin Hagler did against Leonard? Marv was so confident that he would win that he caved to all of Leonard's demands (size of the ring, size of the gloves, hand picked judges) Big mistake as it turned out! Wilder was never offered a legitimate one fight deal. Never!

Anybody can come up with unrealistic numbers like you. It'll make 5 billion.

Hearn didn't make the offer, DAZN did. DAZN was willing to overpay because they're just starting out and want to build subs.
5 billion? Big difference between that number and 150 mil. If both guys keep winning a Joshua/Wilder fight late in 2020 fight can realistically generate huge numbers. You have doubts? Time will tell!

Stop making up excuses for him!
Some of us actually follow boxing enough to know people in the industry! Some get their info from the internet only. Those are the clowns like you! Wilder HAD concerns about both DAZN details and his concerns were never addressed. Wilder never said anything about it in public?
