I'll watch and cheer for Ruiz.

The reason there is little interest is that the fight is extremely one-sided. Ruiz has less chances of winning this than Buster had of beating Mike Tyson.

I'll be watching the cricket world cup instead. Will surely look at the result and watch the highlights on youtube later but mainly to see if AJ was as impressive as Wilder.

I’m definitely looking forward to it plus my subscription is still good from the canelo fight. I Get to watch 2 high profile fighters for only 20 bucks.

But did wish he was fighting miller because of the drama but what could they do.

They could have had it in the UK on Sky. This is a good card for that. I'm not that sold on Miller at all but, even with him, this card would still be a UK perfect card.

They could also have stacked it with mid-level name American boxers, including some journeymen, and Mexicans. Instead, look at the headliners: Joshua, Taylor, Smith, Kelly. At least throw in Farmer and Estrada for the audience.

          Somebody isn't thinking right.

And if you would take the energy you are using to bytch daily about people talking about heavyweights on a boxing forum, Wilder would be more popular in his own country but...

I'm super, super hyped for Saturday. Going out to a bar to watch the Champions League Final, which starts at noon here, then should get home just in time for the beginning of this card. Going to be a great day of sports!!

No doubt. I'll definitely see you on the RBR thread then!

Not IMO, how many fights on the card are actually competitive? Personally, I’m boycotting AJ, Wilder and Fury until they fight each other. I might catch some of the undercard on dailymotion the day after though.

The whole event is being completely overshadowed by the all English champions league final. AJ-Ruiz is pretty much an afterthought.

well the thread was about why there is no hype for the fight and there are various threads started by aj/hearn fanatics talking about wilder vs Ortiz, hearn himself is only talking about wilder, so maybe that's why it has zero buzz lol. he sure is pretty dam popular around here, and how popular he is has nothing to do with anything, I'm a boxing fan I don't go around bragging on whos more popular like some 12 year old blonde
