I did notice that this contract was signed with date and venue TBA. I thought date and venue TBA was like garlic to a vampire to Finkel and Wilder?? Although with the Joshua offer EVERYBODY knew the date and venue it just wasnt in writing.

Hearn or AJ are not going to give him 50%.... If Wilder wants to waste time then more power to him, he’s 4 years older than Joshua and more likely to get clipped in one his defences.

Whichever way you flip it Wilder needs Joshua more because Joshua can just as easily bide his time fighting whatever mandatory in the UK. And unlike with Wilder those fights will actually be profitable. (Seriously how much did Showtime lose on that Breazeale fight?).

No one with any sense sees the logic in getting 50/50 by delaying the fight. But hey, Americans and their ideas.

If Wilder was able to pull in equal to what AJ is doing now? No problem. Split it down the middle. But he's never going to reach that level. Showtime are already losing money as it is. They will probably lose more money having to pay Ortiz what he turned down against AJ plus paying Wilder a lot more due to being champ. And this is PPV. You're supposed to MAKE money on PPV's, not lose it.

I'm sure they lost a fair whack on paying Wilder for that Brezeale fight. He only generates about 4-5 Million. So with him getting just under 10 Mill, and Brezeale getting 2.5 Mill, it's clear their numbers don't stack up. But hey, they're doing this to convince AJ and Hearn that Wilder is a money maker too. Haha. We're told Al is some kind of master. Yeah, he looks like a real master to me. Haha.
