Evan Rutkowski said the PBC deal with FOX has PPV incentives and the better it does on PPV, the more the budget increases so no surprise most PPVs go on FOX. And besides, they completely killed it with the Spence/Garcia promotion and we will see how well Pacman/Thurman does.
If the Wilder/Ortiz is FOX PPV, does that mean possibly Garcia vs Garcia lands on SHO? If so, sign me up for that.
I was hyped for the rematch until Ortiz age really showed in his last fight and he hasn’t been put in with a top contender since losing to Wilder!
This fight lasts as long as Wilder wants it to!
Anyways, The BobFather was right! He said both HBO and Showtime will do away with doing business in boxing, Won’t be long before we hear Showtime completely leaves it alone for good!
Without Floyd around to bring the brinks truck they don’t see anyone else to match that void, even an old Pacquiao isn’t enough!
Not a bad fight at all BUT it shouldn't be happening before the AJ fight
Wilder making things way too personal and he is still hurt over the "Just A Guy From Alabama" comment so it feels more like he is doing things to piss Eddie Hearn off and Eddie is Pissed and rightfully so
Yeah Eddie running his mouth is not helping the situation but the fans shouldn't have to suffer because of it
2020 it is I guess
Wilder schedule will be: Ortiz, Kownacki (Complete his 3 fight deal), Fury II...then AJ
Still a far more competitive fight than Joshua vs Ruiz or Fury vs Schwartz or Joshua vs Pulev.
If you want the buyers of this fight to be shot, what would you prefer for the buyers of AJ-Ruiz fight? A Saudi style execution?
They wasn’t planning on fighting Ruiz they needed a replacement. Wilder on the other hand was probably planning Ortiz while training for the Breazeale fight and more than likely has his next opponent locked in too.
