I love how armchair warriors and WalMart greeters use the terms "hype job" and "bum." Some of you morons who live vicariously through your favorite fighter need to go find another sport whos participants you criticize. Real boxers NEVER call other fighters names like these. SMH.

Why not Thurman vs Spence/Bud? Don't see the obsession with Spence vs Bud alone. We just want one champ at 147, not 4 or 5.

Crawford`s resume is a little better: Horn, Benavidez, Khan.

These guys better stop talking and start getting better fights.

Porter is far more proven than Spence.
Porter is far more proven than Spence based on what? Getting his ass handed to him by Kell Brook, who Spence stopped? Or was it losing to Thurman where he proved himself to you. It must have been those wins against Danny Garcia, Broner, and Alexander. Who have a grand total of ZERO wins against top welterweights on their resumes. I guess he did stop washed up versions of Malignaggi and Berto. Neither of whom were considered top level guys even in their primes.

It’s the only fight worth paying for at welterweight. All the other guys are good but I wouldn’t pay to watch em so it’s kinda like if you have nothing going on and it’s on free tv your watching but Spence vs Crawford is the only one your gonna plan to watch and pay.

It is the biggest fight in a long time at 147. So, of course, it probably will not happen.

What makes you think Crawford is interested in this fight with Spence. If Crawford was ever interested in big fights he would have called out Manny Pacquiao to settle the Top Rank issue that was screw up by Bob Arum, and used it as a stepping stone to bigger fights. Instead, he re-signs with Top Rank to protect himself from the challenges of bigger fights at PBC and, in the meantime, calling Danny Garcia, a PBC fighter...and when Garcia refused, what did he do? He called Amir Khan, instead of the guy who beat Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter.
So, while Pacquiao, at 40yrs is still challenging himself to bigger fights at PBC, Crawford, in his prime, is still playing safely and is afraid to challenge himself to bigger fights.

I disagree with you but I respect your opinion. I need to see how Crawford performs against Porter and/or Danny D. Garcia. IMO Keith Thurman has faced the toughest opposition at Welterweight but Spence vs Crawford is the best P4P showdown between two elite pound for pound talents who happen to be unproven at welterweight.

It’s easy to overlook Thurman due to inactivity or b/c he may not be pound for pound but until he’s unbeaten we truly can’t position Errol or Terrance above Keith based on their respective resumes.
