Ruiz has fast hands, but slow feet. I'm expecting AJ to circle rather than back peddle, keep Andy's attention with his jab and try to time him with uppercuts coming in.

I agree that AJ isn't going to win this fight on the back foot. He's going to have to take some punches to land his own, that's why it should be an entertaining fight while it lasts.

AJ by stoppage iin the second half of the fight is my prediction, maybe with Ruiz still coming forward but getting beat up and taking too many hard shots for his own safety.

Those fast hands of Andy's, coupled with his decent power, make him a live dog though.

Povetkin is using his feet to open up AJ's defence in that clip, and Andy's footwork is nowhere near as good as Povetkin's.
We are talking about cement-shoes A.J, trust me, it shouldn't be too hard to cut an angle on this big stiff idiot and smash his jaw with a left-hook; as has been done before many times.

My biggest concern is Andy's new trainer ( Manny Robles ) who already has a KO loss vs. Joshua with Dominic Breazeale -- a jinx. To make matters worse apparently Robles is encouraging Andy to study up on Mike Tyson, FOR WHAT?! To bite A.J when Joshua start throwing elbows?! Andy needs to follow the blueprint that I laid out, easy-work.

If it's so easy to smash AJ's jaw with a left hook, and his jaw is made of glass - allegedly - then how come he's never been stopped?

Andy doesn't do anything confusing. He is technically very sound but is limited by the fact that he is grossly overweight. You can hardly expect Andy to go Lomachenko on Joshua, it's just not physically possible for him to move his feet like that. I expect Andy to do what he did against Parker, come forward behind the jab and try to set up combos inside, nothing confusing or even surprising.

I suspect Andy is going to get his chin tested repeatedly till it cracks but good luck to him. Nothing would make me happier than a Ruiz win.

Don't be surprised If Andy puts A.J on *****-street like: David Price, DDD, Whyte, Klitschko and Pedvetkin. Unlike those guys Ruiz is in his prime, by now Joshua's chin is brittle and ready to go; those guys just couldn't finish.

AJ never had a clean KO his whole career.
Too much muscle, no snap in his punches . too robotic and stiff.

Get a load of this clown, thinking he's an actual trainer. No, I'm sure Andy Ruiz is dying for some random dude on the internet to advise him on fight tactics.

Joshua has slow feet too though in truth. Quite a static fighter.

                      Not compared to Ruiz.

AJ has dropped some weight and improved his footwork and mobility a lot in recent fights.

Looking at the latest workout videos of Ruiz, he seems lighter too, so maybe he will also be plodding a little faster!
