Wow man just blows my mind.
I don't think anyone agreed with that stoppage. You're making things up to disagree with.

I wouldn't discredit AJ too much though, Takam was well and truly outboxed.

The fact that Ruiz is short is a good thing for him when facing taller fighters, the issue with Ruiz is his short arms, not sure what his reach is but it doesn't look that much. He has quicker hands than others as well.

It was booed immediately when it happened. No-one liked that decision.

AJ struggled horribly with a half blind midget takam, and needed the ref to finish the fight for him.
The only thing he struggled with was getting a clean KO, Joshua was winning every round.

My question is whether AJ can fight on the backfoot, Ruiz has too much handspeed to trade with. If AJ doesn't move he could be in trouble.

He would definitely be pushed back in this fight, i saw him getting pushed backwards a bit against Povetkin and it wasn't a good look. I think he would have learn from the povetkin fight doe, fighting someone shorter isn't idea for a tall HW, AJ had to crunch down every time against Povetkin, i felt he was uncomfortable in that fight.

                      Good luck Andy.
Can Ruiz Jr do those things though?

Povetkin is using his feet to open up AJ's defence in that clip, and Andy's footwork is nowhere near as good as Povetkin's.
