there werent actually 13000 people there though. it was reported by many sources that number was way off and tons of cmps were given away. Then share the contact point.
The email, the phone number, the address for your letter, whatever.
If you walked into the offices of the New York State Athletic Commission as 'John Q Public' and they simply gave you the information, say that.
Wilder-Breazeale was 7 days ago, other folks are already doubting the speed with which you were able to get said information, and I'm calling bull****.
The attendance number was said to be clearly over 13000 people, so to argue that anywhere near 6000 tickets were given away makes your claim even more bull****
from sportingnews "multiple sources have said thousands of comps were given away in the days before the fight"
why ignore all the evidence? just because you love wilder mr tribalist? your love doesnt make him a star unfortunately.Comment

What is my agenda? If I had an agenda I would tell you that Hearn is telling the truth and that Wilder did only sell 6,000 tickets not more you moron. All I did was send a request to the NYSAC and they got back to me, thats it.Comment

Yeah I watched the fight on Showtime. However, I didn't notice the sparseness or scarcity of the crowd though.Comment

I hate to tell everyone this, but this is the American boxing market.
Who’s selling out a 20,000 seat arena in the United States? Canelo Alvarez, because he’s Mexican and a superstar.
No one else is selling out a 20,000 arena, unless they’re in a super fight.
GGG fought Vanes at small arena in Carson. Lomachenko just fought Crolla in LA with Wilder like attendance numbers. Crawford just fought Khan at MSG with Wilder like attendance numbers.
Those are the best boxers in the United States.
How many Americans are buying tickets to see Joshua-Ruiz? Probably about the same amount of people who went to Wilder-Breazeale. Boxing fans who want to see a heavyweight champ.
If the point is that Joshua is a bigger star in the UK than Wilder is in the US, of course he is.Comment

I am not dis*****g the fact, that all of the 13,000 people who attended the event paid to get in. Sure there were several tickets that were given away.
I don't know the exact amount but all promoters give away tickets when they are given licensing fees from a platform to pay their fighter's guarantee on a non pay per view event.
They don't have to aggressively go out and sell tickets because in the U.S. Fighters get most of their money from television anyhow.
Oscar did likewise, he gave a lot of complimentaries away on Cinco De Mayo weekend for the Canelo/Jacobs fight. You had practically the same amount of people who attended that event who attended the Canelo/GGG II match but it generated far less revenue this time with just $9mil as opposed to the $24mil the gate generated in the previous Canelo appearance at the T-Mobile a year ago.
Those tickets were sold last year but this time since Canelo's $40 mil purse was already guaranteed by DAZN; So therefore, GBP didn't feel the need to aggressively go out and sell those tickets to generate enough revenue at the gate because they didn't need to. Therefore, they just gave a lot of those tickets away.Comment

Nobody gives tickets away like pbc though. Look at how many people are posting in here like most of those tickets were sold lol. Their propaganda is working.
Also when they say 13000 that is everyone. Including people working there.Comment
