Wow that was significantly lower than I was expecting . The plus side is at least his exposure since the fight was good but there is an argument this has decreased his bargaining chip against AJ now? There is a possibility (although maybe small?) Joshua will sell more ppv in the uk despite it being at an unfavourable time zone to what wilder had watching him for free!

For Boxing and on Showtime? Those numbers are Strong
Showtime #1 Show Billions average ratings are 0.2 which translate into about 785K Vewiers so I'm sure Showtime are very happy with this number on top of winning 2 more Emmy's for their Boxing Coverage yesterday
Showtime is not going away anytime soon as much as you have so called boxing fans praying for it to happen. CBS/Showtime seems to be very happy with their numbers and that is all that matters
Only thing I want to know is why they don't put boxing on CBS more but when they covered MMA, Strikeforce would be on CBS all the time and boxing gets way more ratings than Strikeforce didComment

you don’t understand how pbc inflates their gates. I haven’t seen the gate number. But I know for a fact Haymon buys blocks of tickets and gives them away that way they count as a ticket sold instead of a comp.
People here in LA post on IG they have several hundred tickets and will sell for pennies on the dollar and then dump them off free at local gyms for the ones they don’t move. There are lots of ways to manipulate floyd was the master when he was neck and neck with Pacquiao. Day of the fight he would buy extra tickets to make his gate higher than the previous Pacquiao fight.
MMA Payout has obtained from the Commonwealth of ******ia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation the attendance, gate and payouts from the PBC on Fox event at the Eaglebank Arena in Fairfax.
The main card which aired on Fox and took place at the Eaglebank Arena in Fairfax drew a gate of $283,941.25 with 6,713 in attendance. Of the attendance, 2,850 paid while there were 3,863 comps. Of the tickets sold, 675 were purchased via discount.
Nobody not any other promoter is inflating their attendance numbers like PBC. Giving out some comps is normal in boxing but giving out this high a percent of comps is NOT normal. Let alone for big fights.Comment

In fairness the TS might have an agenda, but the OP is just facts, not sure how reporting numbers is trying to tear everything downComment

im guessing it sold 5 actual tickets and they gave away the rest too right?!?! lol
keep acting/talking like wilder is going away and nobody cares about him.....every time out hes raising his profile
I had like 3 guys at work, who aren't even boxing fans, come up to me Monday and ask me if I watched the fight...."I saw some guys post the knockout on facebook" they all told me....wilder is trending....no matter what his ratings did Saturday
hes such a nobody that everyones favorite app supposedly offered him 100 mil for a few fights....but nobody care doe! ive never seen a bigger bunch of clownsComment

DAZN really lucked out with not having to pay Wilder 20m and Brezeale 7m for this fight. They are not good numbers at all. I expected a minimum of 1.2m viewers.Comment
