Those are good numbers people just don't get Showtime need to get out of Boxing , Wilder should be on FOX not on premium cable

Showtime can't be happy tho $10 million dollars

youre like that guy yesterday.."chuckguy"....I made a comment about wilder and he comes at me like "you suck wilder off but you always criticize ggg...too funny"...so then I explained the difference, imo, between the two and he says "omg you always have to revert back to bashing ggg"...when hes the one who mentioned him and brought him up to me and quoted me...lol

you aren't much different than him.....and hes pretty pathetic...

      have a good one
Imagine if the ratings had been good. U would have posted wilder to bring his crew and run a train on you. it’s pretty pathetic.

The reason why I responded to begin with was to point out your bias and obsession.

So besides that I have been just responding to you quoting me brother.

No matter how you spin it this was a bad night for showtime and Haymon

in the 18-49 bracket, the match did worse than dragon ball super.

        chew on that. that's bad.

Ratings were lower than expected, but not terrible. It's been a slow year for Showtime, so their ratings could be lower in general without the momentum. And since the fight ended so early, it didn't have time to pick up ratings. My cousin was still in the process of turning the fight on as the KO happened.

you don’t understand how pbc inflates their gates. I haven’t seen the gate number. But I know for a fact Haymon buys blocks of tickets and gives them away that way they count as a ticket sold instead of a comp.

People here in LA post on IG they have several hundred tickets and will sell for pennies on the dollar and then dump them off free at local gyms for the ones they don’t move. There are lots of ways to manipulate floyd was the master when he was neck and neck with Pacquiao. Day of the fight he would buy extra tickets to make his gate higher than the previous Pacquiao fight.

Even worse since Showtime is a premium cable channel so they don’t get any advertising revenue.
People buy Showtime for any number of reasons. I subscribe mainly to watch Billions. Boxing is probably pretty low for most people.
If it was on Fox at least they could sell adds to make up some of the costs.
Haymon could have taken his managers cut from $40 million if he let Wilder fight AJ.
Instead he paid Wilder $10 million for his fight to bomb on Showtime. He a big American heavyweight star doe!

This isn't about inflating anything, that was the actual live gate figure. I got the damn commission report.

So tell me, was 3.5M for that fight not good or something?

It's not good when Wilders trying to prove his value is 50-50 with a foreigner and who's out selling him by fighting Ruiz in Wilders own country with higher ticket prices. It's good if he had nothing to proove though.

50/50? I don't think he is 50/50 regardless of if he did 3.5M at the gate or 6M at the gate.

Joshua is the clear A side here.

But the value of THE fight supersedes just Wilder's individual worth here.
