How Many PPV Buys Does Wilder vs Joshua Do?

So let's say the fight takes place in September or October, how many buys does this fight do in the states? Exclude the UK buys.

By the Fall of next year I predict that it would do more than 2 mil buys.

Wait, some think it will do 2M? In boxing only Mayweather vs DLH/Canelo/Pac/McGregor has surpassed that amount and then in MMA only McGregor/Khabib has surpassed the 2M mark.

I think this will obviously be an easy sell as both fighters have that "look" and their records have insane KO ratios. But 2M? No chance.

It is FAR more action-packed and exciting than Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.

Let's be honest; we all knew that Pacquiao was gonna lose that fight.

If this fight is built up properly, it can break records in 2020.

Lol, those were the two iconic fighters of their generation who were doing 1M on the regular against other opposition. Wilder and Joshua aren't doing THAT.

But I'll say it does around 1.2-1.3M buys. I think the fight will catch fire and will be an easy sell. There is nothing either have done stateside to back up this type of prediction, but even the casuals have heard enough of Wilder vs Joshua for a while now.

How well did the fight last night do in viewings and tickets? Im sure they wont be out yet, or at all. But we need to know those numbers to get a good gauge of Wilders rising profile. Its all lovely that people have been googling his name and its all lovely that he is now selling T-shirts but none of that counts, its what his numbers are for his fights that turn in to money.

To be fair last night has done him no harm at all. He talked himself up big time all week talking about killing to gain some interest and anybody who was ****** in with all the big talk would of been wanting to see a monster KO and Wilder delivered big time.

I tihnk 750 to a million. I dont think we could expect any other fighter on the planet to be pushing Floyd numbers and 750 to a million in this market, with access to illegal streams so easy to find, is a real good nights work. It is a really big fight but im just not seeing the numbers from the American market in general, as well as what Wilder has been doing so far in his career to see this going mental big.
