Thankfully the ref stopped something sick from happening. Good job preventing a tragedy because a second Bomb with the same power would have landed. I am amazed Breazeale got to his feet but that didn't mean he could put his hands up move his legs and defend himself. Breazeale will end up being retired by Wilder or at best be a gatekeeper for 2 more fights where he gets KO'd again. He should just leave the sport, he's slow awkward and has limited skills and will never get any better.
Let's have a retirement match with Charles Martin on a Wilder undercard that you fast forward with the DVR. That fight where you see 8 people in the audience because it's 4 hours before the Wilder Main Event

Wilder did great that was an action packed round. I’m not sure Breazale got caught cold or anything he just threw with Wilder and got hit with a beautiful straight right that’s why Wilder’s Wilder. Breazale also landed a good right hand off his own so he was encouraged. Just got sent to Pluto.

I agree with the poster that says Wilder can do that to anyone. The first 4 round with Wilder are minefield for AJ when that happens. If he starts like he did against Povetkin - he’ll be KO’d.

Not sure where the concerns about the ref but here are the acts:

Contact with fist: 57 seconds
Flat on the ground: 55 seconds
Waved off: 44 seconds

So he actually was given more than 10 seconds

What many guys miss is that the count starts outside of the ring by an official, who the Ref looks to, to get the accurate count.

Not only was Breazeale not up in time, but he staggered and would have fallen out of the ring if it hadn't been for the Ref and the ropes holding him up. So he wasn't in any shape to continue, even if he had a 20-count.
