got his clock cleaned and didnt make the count. ref made absolutely the right call. wilder would have turned him into a potato had it carried on.

Check out some of the slow motion video images others have posted here. His right ear looks like it’s about to flop off and hit the ground

I just watched the fight now. Caught him beautifully. No complaints from this hater Brezeale was on wobbly legs even when he got up. If the ropes weren’t there he would have fell on his arse again. However Wilder is so vulnerable when he thinks he has you hurt. He done his thing though. Cong****

That’s the thing people forget. There’s a clock. If ref is preoccupied, someone else starts the count and the ref picks up. I believe this started after Tyson v Douglas.

Anyone wanting that fight to continue either hates Breazeale or hates Wilder doing better than Josh with same opponent.

Technicaly, the ref is the ultimat authority in the ring, and its whan the ref has counted to ten, doesnt say it MUST be ten seconds.

Still think it was the right call though

People who are saying Breazele beat the count or should've been allowed to continue are utter morons who can't stand the fact that Wilder disposed of this fighter in less than a round of which AJ needed 7.

Oh Lol, I was talking about the time keepers watch on the side of the ring. They usually help the referees with the count. But yeah, the fight clock definitely looks to be right. All in all good stoppage by the ref. Even if he had beat the count and I was the ref I still would have stopped it.

Dude is such a tomato can, he couldn't get up in 10 seconds whether he was hurt or not. No excuses - it wasn't a stoppage - it was a knock out.
