yah but donaire has to be weight cutting a lot at his age and career right now. his punch resistance wont be as strong anymore. and donaire isn't mobile anymore to get out of the way of inoue's punches. all donaire can hope for is a lucky left hook.

Yeah that bit was off. If a fighter is looking at his corner and shaking their head, its towel time - if he got up and got sparked it would have been negligence from the corner in protecting their fighter.

(edit - unless the corner was saying 'you want to stop ?' - and he was shaking his head, in which case, misunderstanding)

Boxing off the jab was probably his best chance at winning, but i wouldn't say he's the better boxer of the 2. Inoue has great fundamentals and can box off the back foot very well. As far as Manny trading with Inoue too early, keep in mind that Manny is a 26 years old prideful undefeated world champion. These young lions can't comprehend real danger because they've been the predators all their careers. The hammer will never assume itself to be the nail until it's too late

Yep, he's definitely the real deal.

Took some shots, he will have to be more careful against Donaire, this fighter will bring new boxing fans to the sport

Just watched it on a better ****** - that body shot that put him down the second time was wicked - just one of those on Donaire and same result as Donaire looks thin in the mid-section at this weight.
