Top Rank not looking to good. I’m sure Fox is pleased with that 1.5M. I still think Showtime has something up there sleeves

1.5 million is not a great rating for fox unless times have really changed. it's network TV, you can watch it for free.

nfl time slots get 10X as many viewers.

ratings for boxing are down universally. a major part of that is the exodus of floyd mayweather and the decline of pacquiao. canelo doesn't speak english and just hasn't crossed over into a real star.

...as posted in another thread you see why Arum is in a Panic and is willing to work with others and is all of a sudden willing to do 50/50

UFC is DESTROYING Top Rank over on ESPN

Sorry but UFC is the more popular combat sport now here in the U.S. and I enjoy their cards and main events more than most Boxing Cards as of late which is SAD to admit as a long time hardcore boxing fans

Boxing is Losing fans, not gaining them and that is a problem for EVERYBODY PBC, Top Rank, DAZN all of them

Disappointing across the board to be honest.

Too much boxing is not a good thing after all and all this division in boxing doesn't benefit anyone huh?

Also fights on PPV that probably shouldn't be.

PBC on FS1 = 350-400K (The average isn't bad, but that includes an anomaly)

Not to mention that DAZN likely isn't getting great averages either. So all these boxing cards we have every week including a lot of showcase fights or mismatches are not helping the cause.

Why are people acting like this is something new?

People don't watch tv anymore. Teens/young adults especially.

No one is going to give their full attention to boxing when you can watch p.0.r.n whenever you want, thousands of android apps to keep you entertained, youtube, facebook, snapchat etc.

When I was growing up, entertainment was watching the scrambled ****e channel hoping to get a glimpse of some t1ts and ass.

The days of tv is going the way of the dodo.
