Agree. That'd be a fairer option.

If you got 2 belts the #1 guys of each belt fight for the mando.

If you got 3 belts whichever 2 guys agree to fight each other first got the mando & the 3rd guy left standing can fight whichever guy he can agree to a fight with of the next #1 guys after the mando gets decided & that winner gets the next mando.

If you got 4 belts same thing. First 2 guys who agree to a fight get to fight for a mando. Then you just work on seniority on figuring out the next fight for the mando spot.

This 2 to 4 belt mando hell guys end up in his bs. It defeats the purpose of having multiple belts. You'd think if you had more belts & are more proven you'd get more freedom. Instead you get less. And again if mando's made more sense it'd be w/e. But the #1 contenders & rankings in general kinda suck so you end up with a resume that looks like Klitschko's thats overloaded with bs mando guys who never deserved a shot at his belts.

Everyone is with these ABC Groups til they do some dumb sh^t to them personally. Then they are like wtf, but then they just go fight for another bs belt anyway. Idk that people care about any one belt for any one belt to become The Belt.

Even the Ring belt or the Ali trophy seems like an added prize more than I think anyone sees those items as a superior thing realllllllllly. Everyone is perfectly happy with having a belt. Hence there are a lot of f#cking belts.

Their was a time when the Ring belt meant much more than any other belt
It was the prestigious one , that was the gem
Imo , they had decent rankings compared to the ABC’s of boxing
Seems nobody cares anymore about it ( I also believe it’s downfall was when GBP purchased the bible of boxing )
But I don’t think their rankings are out of whack compared to the rest

Yea GBP messed up the legitness of the Ring belt. That lowered the value of the Ring title.

I also think the difficulty of making fights with the control promoters have in this more recent era make it problematic for top guys to fight to so its become harder to even win the Ring belt too so that played into it as well. Promoters didn't always have this much power & have guys locked up on these multi-year deals like they do now.

If you are on the wrong side of the street from the other top guy in your division there isn't gonna be a Ring champion. So that makes the Ring title a more unrealistic goal then it should be.

Man I remember when it was two belts WBA and WBC and listening to the old timers who where complaining about how in the world could you have two champions in one division. Now it’s insane doesn’t the wbc have like two or three champs in some divisions.Unreal.

Another problem the fighters don’t want to fight but once or twice a year and a guy could die of old age trying to get a title shot if there was one belt one champ.

There is no way Canelo can get the FOTD award unless he win the FOTY award first this year. But fighting the likes of Derevyachnko? No way!!!

Yeah all this fughin politics became a problem for that prestigious ring belt
Just can’t stand this fughin three sprung attack on boxing that’s going on now a days
That’s what so called boxing fans enjoy talking about ( purses , apps , PBC vs TR or Matchroom )
I will admit , it’s become somewhat boring as fugh to read a lot of the posts because someway somehow it always leads to A vs B , same chit day in day out
                Sad

                Funny how times have changed
I’m sure theirs quite a few old timers turning in their grave for how many belts the WBA has for a division
Just to keep the coin circling

                  No doubt.

I feel when I talk about boxing I gotta talk about how boxing should work & then I gotta talk about the realities of how boxing actually works lol. Thats crazy, but its true.

And its not even nitpicking type things cuz I'm sure NFL guys or NBA guys hate certain aspects of how the NFL or NBA operate, but boxing is a huge clusterf#ck of problems that prevent the sport from reaching its highest possible ceiling with fans & importance in the sports world. And thats definitely sad & disappointing.

Kid you not, I still love watching the fights, but in terms of posting on the forum I'm finding it harder and harder to work up the interest... the Pick em and the RBRs are pretty much the only bits where it actually is still about the fights rather than all the extraneous BS. One of the damn reasons I think it's important the Pick Em continues and grows is that it crosses all the ****** divisions and provides something we can all enjoy without the crap that's taken over the rest of NSB.

                      I agree
I find myself responding to some posts where I need to make sure I make it very fughin clear that I am not a fan of a or b
I do it so that I don’t get 10 fughin messages with each one calling me a nut hugger for A or B
I couldn’t give a fugh what the ratings were for so and so or the purses and the fughin b side
                      Yeah , so that’s it
