    true

props to Andrade for not getting " injured ".....

like Saunders did, when the possibility of a Canelo fight arose

Canelo and Golovkin are not cut from the same cloth

so..... it is inappropriate to suggest such a thing

you can only mention that, IF it happens

      now.....

what if Canelo fights Derevyanchenko, forcing Golovkin to select someone else..... and that someone else happens to be yet another complete no-hoper?

THAT is a far more relevant question..... and far more likely to happen than Canelo ducking Derevyanchenko..... who has little chance of beating Canelo

what will ggg-strings say when Golovkin selects yet another bum?

What's so difficult about it? you'd just have the number one contenders of both orgs fight to have a unified contender for the unified champ.

All the same reasons it’s so hard to make any fight. We can’t even get two champs to fight. What if someone did unify all four? Now u need a three fight tournament to get a unified contender? We know how long that takes. Injuries. Money. Locations. What if u become a unified contender? And u can’t make the fight or the champ take a different fight? Now do u have to defend that unified contender position? But against who?Which sanctioning body rules do u use? Who is the A side B side? Ring size? Judges? Purse split? What if the biggest money fight isn’t with one of the unified contenders? What if there’s a controversial decision? A draw? An injury? Who rules on it? How do u get the timing of all these fights to work? If u lose to the champ then do u fall back into both belts rankings? What if they give u different spots? How do u get up from a #2 ranking if u have to wait for the all the #1s to fight? Do u instantly get anyone’s else’s ranking in any belt if u beat them? What if that jumps u past a guy u lost too? The ufc doesn’t even have champs fighting #1 contenders all the time. I know it seems like I’m pilling on but this is prize fighting. One belt would be great or not? There’s a reason there’s a ton of them. It’s something to sell. It’s the same in pro wrestling and it’s fake. It’s an impossible task. There’s a reason we make a big deal about unification bouts cause they are so rare. They would become even more rare if we had to make unified contenders first. But in ur theory the belts would never end up getting split if there was always a unified contender. I get it. Just impossible to get there or maintain it. Plus u can always drop a belt in the garbage.

Hey at least D-Chenko doesn't have to worry about the 10 pound rehyration limit since it's a unification fight.

                Or does he

So does Charlo become Canelo's mandatory since the IBF is taking a pass on their turn to enforce the mandatory? Or will the WBC president make Charlo the mandatory of a non-belt holder like he's done in the past with Canelo?
