To "make boxing great again" we need:

      Wilder vs Joshua

      Spence vs Crawford

      Loma vs Tank

      Canelo vs Andrade

      Haney vs Teofimo

I respect Wilder, the man, for wanting to be himself.

But the writer is off when he elevates Wilder as someone who has vitalized the sport to the same level as Ali.

        C'mon man. For real??

I have to admit that boxing has grown exponentially in the states the past few months thanks to the "Bronze Bomber". He is the most famous fighter in the world. He is about to put the Heavyweight division back on the map.

Perhaps you can help him out?
Allow me to say something on this. I am no Wilder fan but a boxing fan in general. The following is not a hearsay but Wilder said this. The three-fight deal that Wilder was offered by DAZN had him fighting Joshua twice, and Dominic Breazeale. Wilder wanted DAZN to let him know exactly what Joshua would be getting for a fight against him so that he could verify that he’s getting a 50-50 deal with the British heavyweight. Since DAZN wouldn’t tell him with Joshua would be getting for a unification fight against him, Wilder decided to reject the offer. Now the question is, as fans how can we make that fight happen?

It's a hard enough task for boxing to be on top. It's an impossible task for Wilder to lead it there - especially when even some of his most loyal fans, have given up on him.

The writer has it all wrong. Joshua is not huge on the international scene. He is huge only on the domestic scene. While Wilder on the other hand is huge on the international scene. More people know Deontay Wilder globally than Anthony Joshua. Like Muhammad Ali, Wilder is loud, brash and is slowly becoming the most recognizable human being on the planet.

Moreover, what you see is what you get with Wilder. Like Ali he was humble, down to earth and genuine. While on the other hand, Joshua comes across as being scripted. He has a filter. His image doesn't seem real at all but fake to me. He is not the nice guy that he portrays on camera. If he wants his sponsors brand associated with his name then he is expected to behave in a certain manner.

He is not free to call it like he sees it like Deontay Wilder and Muhammad Ali could. He is forced to play the tact and diplomatic role.

If you're going to troll, make it believable. Saying blind, ****** things just won't cut it these days.
