Breh I don't think Hooker would be such an easy fight first of all...but did you even read my comment. I said the winner of the WBSS was available after that. Hooker has a world championship, Danny does not. A fight with the winner of the WBSS would mean a 3 belt unification. And nevermind all of the fights he could have at 135. I just don't like fighters fighting outside of their natural weight classes. It only delivers us excuses and not who the best actually is. I think that Mikey is just doing it because it's big money for him and in-house. He is not giving me the fights that I want so he won't get props from me chasing money (which is ofc understandable). Nobody asked for Spence vs Mikey....

I am excited. This is a very good match up and fight but I am not going to kid myself; This is not a Pay Per View worthy fight. It has Showtime World championship boxing written all over it.

However, Let's just hope that Mikey comes to win this time and not just survive since he is the more fundamentally sound and scientific of the two. Let's see some sweet redemption.

I think Danny views himself as a business, as he & all boxers should, & I think he's got a handful of fights left so if it don't make dollars it don't make sense. And there is nothing better he can do then try to be a player at 147 or f#ck even a 2nd tier guy at 147 if thats his ceiling there.

Bet being a 2nd tier guy at 147 pays better long term than if Mikey become the man at 140 or 135.
