This is an extremely tough styles match up for Danny. He isn't a stalker and likes to counter and box with his opponent in punching distance. Well, Mikey's footwork is very good and he's just flat out more talented and the better boxer.

I think you are underrating Danny. I think Danny does everything well & nothing great. I think he has a natural gift for timing guys.

But do you really think he imposes himself on Mikey?

I think he makes Mikey tentative to do anything at times.

Where did I say "lock" at? In my post you just quoted I said at worst I think its a competitive fight. That not something I'd say about a lock.

I do think with what the odds will be vs what the odds should be that there will be more value in betting Danny than Mikey. Mikey should be the dog & I think he should be a bigger dog then he will be based on what I've seen in Mikey's tougher fights. And this is a lock to be one of Mikey's tougher competitive fights in his career thus far.

In fairness I got questions with Danny in that regard to, but I think he's shown more ability to work through difficulty & can stay competitive & not shown quite as much beatability (if thats even a word).

Hopefully we'll see either way. Don't hate this fight at all, just hate the PPV talk concerning it.

I don't think I am underrating Danny. Just styles wise I'm not sure he wins a boxing match against Mikey....What it will almost surely be. Danny is not a stalker and won't be on top of Mikey all fight like Spence so Mikey will have room to operate and get his shots off. His chin proved to be good enough in that Spence fight and he was able to block a lot of punches or roll with shots to take impact off the shots.

I also think Mikey's pivots and superior footwork will be trough for Danny and frustrate him. His best shot is to bring the fight to Mikey and try to tank him out (Bellew voice).

Either way though it is a really good match up....But one that shouldn't be PPV no question.
