On another note, perhaps Marquez and De La Hoya never got along and thus Marquez is trashing his golden boy. Marquez is a HOF'er, Canelo is a future HOF'er. It's too bad his countryman can't be happy for him. Canelo clearly won the fight but his greatest achievements thus far, being his win against Golovkin will always have an asterisk by it because of the positive test.

JMM was a good fighter, but at 28 years old Canelo already has a better resume than Canelo. It's incredible. Some of Canelo's wins can be debated, but he was in every fight that he received generous judging from...no different from how JMM could've beat Pac 3/4 fights.

JMM doesn't like that another Mexican is more popular so soon after his own retirement
