When I see fighters with no defeats on their records all it tells me is they have not had career defining fights. And that goes for ALL undefeated fighters regardless of their national and ethnic origin before someone gets ****** with the country vs country rubbish
Excellent comment. tony harrison is another example. the guy has been knocked out by hurd and nelson.

fights arent won and lost on paper, theyre done so in the ring.

      Talk about fair weather fans.
Sad but true. You catch an "L" and all of a sudden you've been exposed. How many time did Hank Armstrong get "exposed" then?

J Rock showed he's for real. He worked hard and got the results. And Hurd basically just showed that without being able to impose his size, he's lost. A rematch will speak volumes, but I expect a repeat. I think MW is his future. He may learn some important things about himself along the way.

Great post. Marvin Hagler lost to Bobby Watts and Willie Monroe early in his Hall of Fame career. Mike Weaver lost 3 of his first 4 fights. These guys learned from losses. There is no shame in a loss!

Hurd need to trim his hair (Especially the pony front ones), the way it flies over everytime Williams lands, makes it look worse on Hurd to everyone watching including the judges.

                      May 10, 2019:

"The 6-feet-1 Hurd, the biggest champion in the 154-pound division, revealed Thursday night that he had to cut 36 pounds during fight week six months ago. Hurd still weighed in at 152 pounds, two below his division’s limit, for a fourth-round knockout of England’s Jason Welborn on December 2 at Staples Center in Los Angeles."
