Spence was an Olympian, so yeah he was an elite amateur pedigree too. His Jab is one of the most effective in boxing. You mentioned him being ggg-like, well ggg pretty much beat Canelo and lost to him, but in each fight his jab found a home all night long as will Spence's. I don't know how you rate footwork, but I've never seen Spence unbalanced or out of position, so his footwork is not an issue at all in my eyes. Jacob's switch hitting is terrible and unnecessary so that is not an attribute. Again, I have no reason to believe that Spence, fully grown into the division, doesn't dismantle Canelo. That's why they want him to jump up two weight classes in one fight for the match up.

The hook is where he slipped, and I have to dis agree with you on that jab comparison. Jacob's don't have a stick that keeps people off of him. Suckleki was able to pretty much walk up because he didn't have a jab in his face

Crying? I don't even like ggg, notice I never even capitalize his name, but he clearly won the 1st fight. Just because you put the word "facts" after the statement doesn't make it true. Jacobs does not have a better jab. Canelo defense is great, but he is far from untouchable. That movement tires him out in the second half of every fight, and he gets sloppy.

You know outboxing someone doesn't necessarily mean fight off the back foot like Floyd right? You can be right in the cut with someone catches punches with the glove and pushing forward while outboxing him.

Spence is 29 and his growing days are over. He will never grow into a middleweight and will always be much smaller hard weight wise than the younger Canelo. Spence is a hell of a fighter with a great jab, power, speed, balance, good chin,great body punching and work rate and all around skills. I think he would give prime Mayweather hell and might beat him. He can't beat Canelo in my opinion because of the weight difference and Canelo being excellent and a big puncher especially to the body.

Canelo has ALREADY beaten fighters who have a better stick then Spence lol Now who has Spence faced that is as slick and difficult to hit as Canelo? Or who hits as hard as Canelo? Or who is as crafty and intelligent in the ring as Canelo? I'll wait......

Canelo outboxes and outsmarts Spence or if Spence takes risks he leaves in a stretcher from those counters and traps he sets. Canelo has faster hands, slicker, better defense, more power, higher ring IQ...and oh yeah he's younger then Spence. Folks forget that because Spence ain't fought nobody while Canelo been putting work.

except here Canelo is the slick one and higher skilled fighter. Spence is not floyd if one of these guys is more like Floyd it's clearly Canelo. You can make up size with skill and defense. Problem is Canelo is ALREADY the higher skilled, smarter fighter of the 2 in addition to being bigger and stronger. This is like Mikey going up fighting Spence or Brook going up fighting GGG lol
