Crawford is too dangerous, it's better to get beat by Canelo and duck Crawford.

Crawford exposes Spence but getting beat by Canelo...that sends the groupies into a P4P tirade as if he didn't just take a beating.

It kind of worked for Mikey and it might work for Spence.

I read somewhere that Spence was offered $20M for a Canelo fight. If that’s the case, Spence should be criticized for not taking it. I don’t necessarily think not fighting someone outside your division is “ducking.” But in Spence’s case. He was perfectly willing to fight a guy moving up two divisions. So he should be willing to move up two divisions himself, especially for a career high payday. He shouldn’t be completely crucified. But if definitely doesn’t pass the smell test.

I’m getting tired of the phrase “did enough to win...” it carries with it a connotation that a boxing match is not a zero sum event- as if both fighters can ‘do enough to win’.

I'm a big Danny Jacobs fan but no way in hell did he win that fight. Canelo out landed him with total punches, jabs, and power punches. By a good amount. Danny had some moments on the back half of the fight but I had it 8-4. 7-5 for Canelo worst case.

Jacobs didn't do enough. Canelo actually looked really good. Really good defense. He did get caught a few times hard but his chin was iron cast and it didn't phase him.
