Laughing at the dummies calling this cheating. There was an option for him to come in over 170 and pay money and he is. That is not cheating that is following the contract. Cheating would be messing with the scales or something.

It's not cheating. GGG fans crying that after the fight were wrong and it's not cheating doing it against Canelo. If he did this in non unification fights he would already been stripped and if the money involved in the events weren't so high in addition to being stripped the fights could be called off. Dirtbag move but he decided I'll give up the IBF belt to gain unfair advantage against GGG and this time said ok I'll give up 1M to gain unfair advantage against Canelo. Until there are iron clad rules for unifications to prevent a fighter from lying and pulling this stunt can't call it cheating. It's on the line and dirtbag but not cheating.

Smart move by Jacobs. You should try to get every advantage you possibly can. And he's making enough money to where that 250K per pound isn't that big of a deal.

Both guys knew the weight rules and followed the rules in that fight. This issue isn't him gaining weight. The difference here and the problem is Jacobs has twice agreed to weight rules and then intentionally blew them off to gain advantage over his opponent. He agreed to fight for IBF told GGG, told the belt orgs, told the other promoter did a million interviews about it then pulled a sneak move and didn't follow while GGG did to gain a unfair advantage over GGG. This time agreed to it in writing in the contract, again promoted the fight saying he would follow it then once again blew it off to gain a advantage on the other fighter who did.

Canelo has NEVER done anything like this let alone TWICE lol it's not cheating but its close to the line and dirty and Bush league as phuk tho and should be called out for it.
