To be honest, I don't understand why anyone would sign with Haymon, and also stick with additonal managers and promoters. There was nothing in that contract shown to suggest it could be considered as a slave contract. Yes, a fighter would need written approval from the advisor to take a fight, but at the same time, the athlete can't be forced by the advisor to take a fight that they don't want.

Naw, keeping a low profile has gotten him this far. He became the most successful music promoter in history and changed the way promotion companies work. He's become the most successful boxing manager in history and changed the boxing game. There is no benefit to him doing interviews for boxing fans. And you know we gotta keep a low profile and stay under the radar when we're that successful. We can't be out here like the Arum's & Hearns'.

Even though this was already proven fake news. The sad part about it is people really think Haymon has a standard contract that applies to all his fighters. They think Wilder is under the same contract as a Guerrero. Or Spence has the same contract as Andy Ruiz.

Haymon tries to make the most money for his guys, as a boxing fan I don't like the way he operates for boxing. But his job is to make the most most money for his guys, trying to bring up a contract to dipute this seems ridiculous.

Wilder is now saying he won't fight AJ for a 50-50 split.
