Why would the WBC reward Ortiz with a 2nd final eliminator against Whyte straight after being knocked out by Wilder it makes no sense

Wasn't wrongly ordered as anything. Had Whyte not ducked the fight, the winner would have been mandatory to the Wilder/Breazeale winner in a couple weeks.
As it is, Whyte is begging to be named mandatory to the winner of the fight. Had he beated Ortiz, he'd already be mandatory to the winner of that fight.Comment

WBC has made itself a laughing stock amongst the organizations. They never do anything right especially in HW.
How did they allow Stevenson as champion for over 4yrs with out a mandatory fight?Comment

I obviously knew you will deny it. It was all over public domain that Ortiz was over prizing himself.
There is something I noticed about these chicken fighters especially in HW. When they negotiate with TP, PBC and Co, they seems to be satisfied with certain amount but when it comes to matchroom, they same fighters begin to overprice themselves. For instance Ortiz.
He's been fighting undercards for so long for short money, immediately matchroom gives him a call, he thinks he's worth millions.
It's a shame.
Everybody wants to be over paid to fight AJ, whyte but will accept chicken money to fight wilder.Last edited by Laligalaliga; 05-04-2019, 03:25 AM.Comment

IT WAS A MANDATORY FIGHT. Whyte is the one that pulled out, not Ortiz. If Ortiz had pulled out, Whyte would have been allowed to face the next highest contender.
You have absolutely no idea how these things work.Comment

Rubbish the WBC is protecting Wilder from Whyte that’s why he’s already lined up Ortiz and Kowancki as his next 2 fightsComment

Why was a globally banned boxer 13 ranked Eric Molina allowed to participate in a WBC one way “final eliminator “ against the no 6 ranked Breazeale
How does that work ?Comment
