All Whyte had to do is fight him. Ortiz has been a top 5 heavy for years now, with only one other top five guy willing to fight him.
Whyte even called out Ortiz publicly, and Ortiz accepted, then Whyte ran, ducked. Well documented. Ortiz may get KO'd by Whyte, Joshua, etc, but they are too afraid to try.
Whyte needs to STFU. He turned down a career high payday vs Joshua, then says he would no doubt wip Joshua? Delusional.
Ortiz has publicly ran away from Whyte on at least 3 occasions you should stop believing the hype what is Ortiz best win ? Bryant Jennings who Whytes next opponent Rivas knocked out.
Malik Scott who Dereck Chisora knocked out.
Ortiz never achieved anything as an amateur but Whyte in his 7 unbeaten amateur fights managed a win including 2 knockdowns over Anthony Joshua

But it is what it is and it's criminal enough to order Ortiz as another final eliminator for whyte when Ortiz was just coming back from a KO loss.
I still can't seems to explain that coming from WBC.

But Ortiz turning down 7 million + a guarantee of 5 mil if he lost for next fight or more money if we won? Guessing that’s not an issue to you?
You can’t claim people are delusional and then be so hypocritical I’m afraid my son.
Whyte has quite clearly done more than anyone else. Outside of AJ he has probably had toughest run of opponents. He has beaten Parker, Browne, Chisorax2, Tann, Helenius and now taking on Rivas.
He has been rank 1 for now well over a year.
In the Same period by comparison Ortiz has beaten only Allen, Martz,Cojana, Kauffman and Hammer and has suffered a loss

What experience, insight or education do you have as it pertains to sanctioning body bylaws, lawsuit precedents, etc?
Stiverne vs Breazeale was a final eliminator as Stiverne was already the mandatory and voluntarily agreed to put his status on the line against Breazeale.
When Ortiz failed a test, putting Stiverne back in the main event, Breazeale was legally entitled to a final eliminator. The WBC offered the fight, in order, to everyone in their ratings until somebody said yes. Whyte said no. Others said no. Molina said yes.

Before I say Jack, hez already another mandatory. This is all bullsheit.
Giving Breazeale a one way mandatory ticket, is that the way final eliminators work?
