As much as I think Crawford-Spence is a great fight, and I'd like to see it, let's not forget that pro boxing is a business first and foremost.
Fighters have promoters and managers for a reason and visa versa; all with the aim of making as much $$$ as possible in the short time available.
Crawford resigned with Arum knowing the landscape. Ditto Spence.
Crawfords options going forward look extremely limited, and neither Spence or PBC are to blame for that!
If I were Spence's management and promoter I'd be looking to clean up my side of the street before even thinking about Crawford. There's plenty of money to be made against Porter, Garcia, Thurman and Pacquiao.
