Exactly. It's not right, but its important for fans to be educated about which advisers and promoters constantly block the best fights, and which don't. As you said it was Rigo's team messing up his career which included turning down Lomachenko at 126 or 124 years before it happened, when Rigo was younger and it would have been (slightly) better for him, but uneducated casual fans continued to blame Loma or Arum.

So this is the part his manager/trainer said that you disagree with? Everything else he's telling the truth but this is the only part he's lying about?

most of the rest is just he said - she said PR drivel. The only other thing that was OBVIOUS nonsense was that Dade would be in breach if they dont get him the Wilder rematch. They dont control Wilder, so there is no legal basis to compel them to do anything other than their best efforts to get that rematch. But they cannot be contractually bound to deliver a fighter that they do not have promotional rights to.

Was it Danny Garcia or Vanes that spoke of the "extra" he got above his purse for a fight. Its a real thing with PBC. No need to ignore it. You pay income tax on income. There are ways to make money without paying taxes. Ask Donald Trump.

Thurman had said he got some extra at one point. Thats one guy. But that doesnt mean that EVERYONE does. And it makes no sense for Haymon to do it. That money has to be taxed SOMEWHERE. It just doesnt vanish into thin air. If Haymon doesnt disclose it, then HE gets taxed for it, and I guarantee you that aint happening......

I've seen fighters, promoters, and also media people say the same thing. We even saw one fighter post another check. Why would I believe you over them?

The thing is its a damage control situation. Following these guys since 2016 they have played the game of no blame so they take less dangerous fights. Look at Ortiz resume and say I'm lying ?

It doesn't have to be conveyed as purse/income. Rich people don't stay rich without knowing how to manipulate the tax code.

The MAA is more about promoters having limitations on their powers more then its about managers/advisers for the most part. The Muhammad Ali Act should be called the Don King Act. There is wording about managers/advisers in it, but its not what the MAA is really about & its much vaguer then much of the already vague-ish stuff about promoters. Thats one of my issues with the whole MAA.

They haven't signed anyone for the fight on June 1st as of yet. I think we all know who told him to not take the fight. Same guy who had Wilder pass up $120 million...
You do know there is an article in this very thread where Jorge Carmenate, the President of Dade Promotions, says he thought Eddie was lowballing him & he wanted more money right? LOL.

Why mfers ALWAYS trying to blame Al Haymon for EVERYTHING??!?!??!?????!!!!!

Its sorta hilarious people do this.

A reported offer of $5 million—a figure which Hearn has publicly disputed—was deemed as insulting by Ortiz's promoter.

“After 5 days of BS we declined all of Hearn’s lowball offers and we are tired of his games.,” Dade Promotions’ Jorge Carmenate told BoxingScene.com’s Ryan Burton earlier this week. “I know the magnitude of this fight. I wasn’t going to let Hearn bully me. Especially when I know they need Luis. I mean who else could they really have to fight and that the public was willing to pay for?”
I suspect you'll counter with "well he's just saying that cuz HAYMON told him too" lmfao.
