could be worse. Could be like karlos balderas
Who signed to pbc and fights on the 4th walkout bout off tv after Gervonta Davis vs Ruiz while the media are all at the press conference lol. Literally 10 or less people besides his corner saw his fight.

I see what you're getting at but for Haney, this makes sense. He'll probably get a title shot two for three fights in to this deal.

There is a longer game in play you are ignoring.

How many people had HBO back in the 70's, 80's & 90's when HBO was investing in boxing in a bigger & bigger way? Idk, but not many at the beginning thats for sure. And I know they weren't even available on all cable networks for about a decade into their existence.

Was HBO ultimately bad for boxing, US or overall? I don't think so.

They helped create some of the biggest names in boxing history with Oscar, Floyd, Manny & Tyson.

Will DAZN accomplish as much for boxing, US or overall, as HBO did? Idk. I'd probably bet against it right now as we stand, but is it possible they could? Sure it is.

Terrible signing that he will regret, fighting on an App, Hearn has no fighters for Haney, what a waste of a career, this Kid could of moved up to light welterweight and welterweight to fight bigger names, I would of even signed with ESPN, they have some pretty good light welterweights, now he is stuck on a App fighting tomato cans with no exposure, his dad guided him in the wrong direction

I wonder why Haney tweeted about that WBC belt when he is not fighting for the vacant belt next?

I wonder if Campbell is fighting Abdullaev who should be the easiest opponent or if he actually takes on Teofimo?

Campbell is ranked #1, Abdullaev #2, Haney #3 and Lopez #4

The app nobody is watching. This isn't ESPN Plus. People watch that app

American TV. I didn't say PBC

Premium cable made boxing a niche sport. This app is taking a niche sport and hiding it from the majority of the American public. They said after Canelo, AJ, & GGG fight they're hoping to have 1 mil subs. ESPN plus passed that mark in a month.

People will say, but ESPN is the biggest sports network in America. Yep, that's my whole point. Boxing needs the biggest sports network behind it. Not some fly by night app.

Eff you're a smart guy. You know they aren't getting NFL, NBA, MLB, or NHL. To many real streaming services in America to compete with like Netflix, Amazon, Facebook, and now Disney.

You really think people are going to pay $20 to only watch boxing? They'll pay it to watch Canelo because it's cheaper than his PPV fights. People are complaining not only about Netflix prices going up they're complaining about the overall a la carte pricing of apps, music & video. Nobody but hardcore boxing fans are paying $20 a month just for boxing.
