Charlo vs. GGG on DAZN, would be seen by multi-million people too! Honestly, Charlo would care less, because DAZN would pay BIG to sign Jermall! He could get a co-promotional deal like Devon Haney!

It wouldn't, and even DAZN knows this; the public hope is that Alvarez-Jacobs in May, Joshua-TBA in June, and Golovkin-TBA in June will be enough action to hopefully push the DAZN subscriber number over a million, lol.

Beyond that, Charlo would most definitely care; Tevin Farmer is fighting his ass off, finally making money, and no one in the sport really gives a **** because no one actually sees him fight.

Jermall Charlo can still make really good money, fight on arguably the broadest platform possible, and emerge as a true star and hero in his city.

DiBella keeps his name alive, and Davis-Farmer is definitely that next big fight that makes sense for everyone; Farmer finishes up this summer, gets the big coming out event on Showtime, and then we see Showtime put the promotional weight behind Davis vs Farmer to close out the year.

He fights his ass off and gives a good account of himself, win or lose, he's got a story that Showtime can build with as their 126lb fighters move up to 130lb (or if Farmer makes a run at 135lbs).

What's important is that Farmer will get the chance to be a hero in his city.

I see what you mean, but he needs that victory to validate himself.
I'm no fan of Canelo's business practices but he is clearly the man at 160 as things stand.

Without that win, he'd be Greg Page to Canelo's Larry Holmes; the "other guy".

He doesn't though; it's a longer and harder road, but he keeps knocking off good/great fighter, in style and in front of more eyeballs than any other middleweight is getting, the acclaim will come.

Frankly, if my instinct is correct, I pretty quickly foresee a point where the only middleweight that casual fans will talk about for Canelo will be Jermall Charlo.

No care for Andrade, we've already seen the lack of reaction for Golovkin's return, and even the residual interest for Jacobs isn't really holding up.

Canelo is enough of a star, on enough of the money to simply run The Canelo Show and keep moving on, but he's also a prideful fighter; the fight will be made whenever he's ready to make it, and Charlo not being signed to DAZN won't matter

We'll see! You know i'm a fan of PBC, but other than Dervy, I don't see much for Charlo @ 160! In fact, there's way more opportunities @ 168, than 160!
