Straight up duck of my point that Ortiz getting 7 mil for Wilder complete 'codswallop'. The fight would have to be twice as big as the Fury bout which was between two undefeated guys with one very charismatic Brit selling it and bringing his own draw, Ortiz has none of that.

Also on your point how much did Wilder earn in the fight after them offers? 7mil? 10 mil tops.

This is the most ridiculous argument that clearly ignores the fact them offers were before the market conditions drastically changed with DAZN throwing around big money to get some traction in the US, before AJ was planned to have a fight in the US and Wilder actually doing something to raise his profile by fighting Fury.

A lot changed since the first offers but since you have no business comprehension or understanding of adapting to changing markets so we can't blame you for your ignorant rantings.

      So he's ******** $7m on a really unlikely outcome?

        You're a complete cvnt

When that 12.5 was offered Wilder hadn't fought Fury, the fight wasn't as big and it was an opening offer that was 3-4 times Wilder's highest pay day. Was Joshua making 3-4x his biggest pay day?...No

I'm sure he does or fighters would be jumping ship but this whole ordeal just seems like they took advantage of Wilder for their own personal benefit. If he ends up making all that money and then some down the line then good for him but in the short term we all lose out on a few great fights between Joshua and Wilder.

I'm just fed up with all that boxing is at this point, the Network and Promoter beefs and coldness is just killing the whole sport. I thought it may have gotten better when HBO went away but it's only gotten worse.

Espn has a few big names with nobody for them to fight, Showtime is so bad now that their biggest fight in 5 months has been a womens fight that looked like it was in a high school gymnasium and Fox is pushing PPV down our throats at an alarming rate now when we thought we'd be getting some great shows on there and Showtime.

I've been a fan of boxing for 30 years, since I was a kid, but I'm at the point where I barely give a **** anymore because I know I'll hardly ever see the fights that should happen, when they should.

We will be lucky to see Wilder-Joshua in 2020 at this rate. Same with Spence-Crawford.

since many here(well the aj fanboys)think that wilder is easier pickings and ripe to be taken...and that ortiz "had him" in the last one......then ortiz can take that belt and make even more money for an AJ fight

if he loses to AJ hes likely done and no longer a viable opponent to face wilder again..

uk fanboys insist wilder is easier to beat and had wilder near defeat....so its a two birds more money scenario...hes likely to see similar money in a wilder ppv rematch.....if he loses to aj he wont see that wilder fight again anyway...he beats wilder than he sees more than what he would have made in june vs AJ later when hes holding a wbc strap to bring with him
Didnt you just yesterday say that Ortiz should/will take the offer if he is offered at least the same amount as Miller?
            Wow.

Your bias knows no boundaries lol.

I use this post to also reply to FRESHBRAWLER's thread "Can the fans really trust Eddie Hearn?", because he has me on his ignore list lol.

I think you need to work on your reading comprehension.
Steve Collins and Barry Hearn were involved in a litigation, not Eddie Hearn.
Warren sued Burns for breach of contract. Hearn was involved, because Burns switched to Matchroom. Hearn wasnt directly sued.

He reckons Ortiz is gonna earn as much as Fury did on a 50-50 split with Wilder, when Ortiz will probably be getting 25% or less considering he lost the first and isn't a undefeated "Lineal" Champion.

What a joker, they haven't even got Fury to sell it.

and the UK fanboys tell me my numbers are trash!!!!!! you cant write this stuff or make it up!!!! yeah my numbers are trash

haymon has promised Ortiz wilder/Ortiz 2 on ppv...where Ortiz will likely make close to, if not the same, money he would have for AJ

its logical...its in house and helps wilder.....and since you UK fgts say wilder is easier pickings it will be easier for him to pick up the WBC belt and then go to AJ with that in toe....if he loses to AJ in june its likely a wilder fight has no luster anymore and is off the table

smartest route for Ortiz but yall way too dumb to understand it...yall thought 12.5 was a smart deal for wilder cause its like "5000x his highest payday doe"...

                  friggin dumb fgts

That guy Redd Foxx is such a clown man.

When AJ or any other british fighter like Dillian Whyte doesn't fight Ortiz straight away, he calls them all names under the sun. Then his his hero Wilder's best win turns down an opportunity of a lifetime all of a sudden he turns into an intellectual like

Well one would say it does seem odd but lest we jump to any conclusions dear lads

People celebrate Wilder rejecting $100m because he got offered less before. "Look, Wilder's winning". He's not, he's fighting for substantially less sums of money than he could be because he never accepts the offer.

If Ortiz doesn't fight Joshua then he simply doesn't want the fight. The money is there and is credible.

It's time boxing fans turned on the corrupt arseholes ruining the sport.

And get behind the one fighter who is unifying belts and trying to get big fights made.

Could our American cousins ever handle supporting a British fighter?
I'm not a Wilder fan and Joe Calzaghe was my favorite fighter, you simple minded twat. Not everyone thinks of boxing on a nationalistic level. Just the ones that are insecure and have a chip on their shoulder.
