If that's the case then Deontay Wilder must have been juicing too; When he turned down the $120mil offer to fight on DAZN as well. Moreover, Ortiz is currently enrolled in VADA's clean boxing program.

So I don't believe that's the reason why he turned the offer down; No more than I believe that it was the reason why Wilder turned DAZN's offer down.

The reason why those lucrative offers were turned down is because they both were instructed and coached to turn them down by their teams. It's nothing more or nothing less.

    • Tuesday - Luis Ortiz announces the fight with Anthony Joshua won't happen & accuses Eddie Hearn of "low-balling him".

Wednesday - Eddie Hearn threatens to "expose" Luis Ortiz's team on the offer.

Friday - Ortiz's team announce it's their fault the AJ fight isn't happening.

As I said, there are only about 10 decent HWs worth watching nowadays, and I use the "worth" loosely.

If you think guys like kaufmann or hammer are considered 'names' in the heavyweight division, you must be on that good stuff.

That's not "a view" that's being on crack.

Ortiz is smart to not take this fight at less than Miller's fee. Hearn flat out insulted Ortiz with that. Hope we see Joshua/Ortiz within the next year, before Luis retires. IMO it will happen.

You are the one who needs to smoke less. And no, I'm not a Wilder fan. He ducked way too many. 40 fights with one credible opponent? LOL!!!!!!

So tell us Einstein... what are IN ORDER the top 5 HWs now?

              • For everyone that paid attention knows that the offer was quite a bit more than $5 Million, possibly around $7m, since Ortiz own manager confirmed that Luis, the fighter would have gotten $5m for himself after his promoter took his 30% fees. It will all come out in the next couple days.

They are names. Much bigger names than the bum Fury is fighting. NOBODY on this board has ever heard of Tom Schwartz
