Joshia vs Ortiz is a real fight that I'm sure they'd want to promote properly and train for. Ruiz fits right in for Miller, no problem.

Not going to look good on the scales and in the ring unless they make Ruiz fight with a shirt on or something

i thought it was Hunter for sure last week when they said the announcement would be today. But since the announcement has been delayed i think there is some truth to the rumor Ruiz is in talks. He just fought on TV & he's Mexican. I think they're looking at the Mexican fan base. A Mexican-American fighting for the HW championship of the world would get Mexican-Americans excited. And they would run the promos & cross promote with Canelo-Jacobs

Hunter would be a better fight than Ruiz but the problem is Ruiz (who is an good fighter) is more well known (although not by much) than Hunter and is just coming off of a win with Dimentrenko less than 48 hours ago.

Oh well....what does it matter, behold:

              Anthony Joshua (WBA,WBO,IBF)
              Jarrell Miller (GW,HGH,EPO)

For his US debut Ruiz or Hunter are bs fights to make all around except to Ruiz or Hunter. The people know Ortiz from the Wilder fight to some degree. Thats the US debut that made the most sense.
Plus, Ruiz looks like he doesn't even take boxing seriously. He reminds me of Joe Hipp, who was a damn good fighter, but it is what it is.
