I agree with some of what you say but Danny simply doesn't want Crawford. You can't offer Danny enough or force him. It's that simple. Danny didn't even counter for 6,7,8 10 million he said nothing. Danny fought a tailor made guy with a losing WW record for 1 million and 50 to 100,0000 in ticket fees.

Whose to say Khan wasnt offered $3m (like Danny) and NEGOTIATED to $5m (which is what he got)??

Wrong, all offers go to the promoter and PBC fighters are self promoted...look it up. 2nd, Al Haymon is technically and an advisor and if he started negotiating out in the open he would be in violation of the Ali act. The back ally offer was never back ally, it was a real acknowledged offer to Garcia senior...Garcia said so in an interview. After Danny's team decided not to act on it they needed a reason and came up with the back ally label. As for more than 1 million yes, Danny will get a cut of the tickets and make about 1.5, total... if he's lucky. PBC fighters don't make as much guaranteed money, not even close, they get a cut of the ticket sales and PPV. The problem, unless you are Maywether, Pac or Canelo...tickets and PPV are crap. Mikey Garcia drew big tickets because he was a credible guy. Unfortunately his honest guy persona took a giant hit after the Spence performance. Everyone that paid for that fight saw Mikey just try to survive and not win. I understand why Mikey made the fight but I think the price was steep.

Oddly enough, Crawford would be favored to beat Garcia. The only possible motive I can think of for Bob to change his tune would be if a fight wiht Brook was going to bring in significantly more revenue. Otherwise, it seems like a bad move to shy away from a Garcia fight, not a good look.

Any one of the PBC welterweights are viable, credible opponents for Crawford. Thurman, porter, Garcia, Ugas, Spence, Pac-Man, and maidana. All of them give Crawford a test and recognition if he beats any one of them.
