Kavaliauskas lost to Ray Robinson unofficially. Ugas lost on paper. Fighting any of the 3 would be a step down for Crawford, especially Ugas cause it will look like Crawford fought Porter's leftover on paper. And I think Porter is inferior to Crawford.

Better than the Spence/Garcia and Crawford/Khan rip off mismatches. Brook at least has a chance to hurt Crawford.

Ugas arguably lost against Porter in very close fight, so I see no problem.

As I said, I think Porter is inferior to Crawford. Fighting someone who had an arguably fight against Porter doesn't enhance Crawford IMO. It's a waste of time plus it's non-lucrative too.

That guy is a typical fanboy twisting the truth to suit his agenda.

Brook did call out Spence for a rematch but that was at 154. Spence clapped back at Brook and said that if Brook gets a title at 154 then he would move up and fight Brook again for said title.

Then Brook decided to come back down to 147 for Amir Khan fight, and hasn't called out Spence since he made that decision. He been talking Khan, Thurman, Porter, and now Crawford, although there was a time he mentioned Spence but not a direct call out, he was just listing potential opponents at 147.

Based on what? Porter has better wins at 147.

I say Thurman because he is the master and ruler of trap setting. Which is the only way you're landing on Crawford, is to feign vulnerable and tag him when he leaves himself open.
Bud is the second best body puncher at the weight behind only Spence. He'll kill Keith Thurman within eight rounds.

We all know how vulnerable Keith is to the body.

That's IMO. I don't want to use the 'eye test' basis but he really performed better in the ring. That's why I said 'I think'. And many believe that too. A fight against Porter would be acceptable if it was possible to happen; had Ugas got that 'W' against Porter, a fight against him would have been ok too. But for now, he's Porter's paper leftover. It's a waste of time for Crawford doing fight like that.

Kell has two false eye sockets and should think about his own health.Through no fault of his own the Khan fight is dead but has been for a long time.

The time has come for them both to retire as they are both an accident waiting to happen. Barry Hearn has called for them to fight each other and he should be ashamed of himself but Barry Hearn isn't bothered about what we all clearly see, just more money in the bank for these greedy business men!

This situation blows chunks. Crawford showed loyalty to Top Rank, but he had to have had one of 3 conversations:

                      1) If I resign, I expect you to get me big fights at 147. If that means working with your rival, You need to do it no excuses. Promise me that, and I am in.

                      2) I don't care about my legacy. I will sign for ____ amount of money. If you get me one of PBC's guys, great. Otherwise, we will get scrubs, your check will clear, and I will be happy.

                      3) I am a name opponent. I will resign for big cash, be one of 2 great names to keep ESPN and Top Rank relevant, and the PBC fighters will come to me.

I am fairly sure it is not the second conversation. I have said before that if all Crawford wanted was cash and decent opponents, he could have stayed the unified champ at 140 and everyone would have chased him and ESPN would have been just as happy. If it is the third, he was dumb. The PBC fighters have each other to build a legacy. They do not need Crawford.

So if it is the first conversation, as I would put money on it, at this point Crawford may need to start looking at loopholes to get out of that Top Rank contract. He is not going to air out business on the air, but Crawford NEEDS his team to get one of the other champs in the ring. Brook adds nothing. As a boxing fan, this blows chunks. Any of those names TreJac mentioned against him are top shelf fights. Any other set of names are just lame and uninteresting.
