Brook should have rematched Spence. The first fight was pretty good. He's done nothing since that fight apart from chase Khan around

It isn’t a bad fight, I’m just concerned about the weight

Brook gets a lot of bad rap, but he isn’t really that bad a fighter. Especially when you consider the hype that Spence gets.

Brook gave a decent account of himself against Golovkin, a fight that shouldn’t have happened, but he deserves some credit.

The Spence fight was practically even before the stoppage, a fight where Brook was coming down from 160, and back from a battering. The injury was exactly the same as what Golovkin caused, indicating some problem there. So considering how close the fight was, and how dominant Spence has been with everybody else (though admittedly, it’s one weak resume), Brook isn’t a bad fighter at all. He’s shown he can hang with the likes of Spence at least. I’m just concerned about the weight, I don’t believe he has been able to make 147 safely since bulking for Golovkin.

Brook did call out Spence for a rematch but that was at 154. Spence clapped back at Brook and said that if Brook gets a title at 154 then he would move up and fight Brook again for said title.

Then Brook decided to come back down to 147 for Amir Khan fight, and hasn't called out Spence since he made that decision. He been talking Khan, Thurman, Porter, and now Crawford, although there was a time he mentioned Spence but not a direct call out, he was just listing potential opponents at 147.
... yes... but I don't think Crawford would fight Brook -- Brook isn't adding anything in Bud's resume...

Yer, but he'll make that weight for that type of cash that Khan just got for sure.

Brook must really be scared of Munguia? That should've been target #1 for the past year! Now he wants to come back to 147 to be embarrassed? Horn, Munguia, or Beefy Smith! Choose one! Where was Brook when Hurd was calling him out? COWARD! If i'm Hearn, I talk to Hooker regarding Crawford! Hooker has a 3" height advantage, and 6" reach advantage, and he could make it happen (purse bid?) b/c Hooker is WBO Jr. WW Champ! Bob would make a deal b/c he really doesn't have a better option!

I didn't say Crawford wouldn't fight Brook (even in the UK)... at this point, Bud doesn't have top opponents to face next...

Of course I’m not cool with it, Haymon’s persistent protection of his dwindling control over titles is the biggest problem in boxing right now. I get why Crawford has to stay active and Brook pays the bills, but my point was Brook is as shot to pieces (if not more so) than Khan, so it’s really just more fat on Crawford’s record, but like you say he has very few options.

But at this stage they just pad his record. Everyone wants Spence for this guy, it’s a potential trilogy.
Why is brook shot? Did he look bad in his previous fights? Or because he lost losses?
