I wonder what weight he will enter the ring as a heavyweight. Look forward to seeing his addition to the HW mix.

The good thing is that he won't have to worry about cutting the ring off at Heavyweight, something he really struggled with vs Usyk
Usyk is elite. Gassiev is a good fighter, better than that loss has some people think.

I remember watching him and thinking he would make a better HW than CW. I think he has a good chance to make some noise so long as he has a decent trainer who helps him adjust his style some to be better suited for the longer reach of the big dawg division.

        HW is getting interesting again.

He's still inexperienced too, and will get bigger and better over the next 5 years.

Eddie now has 3 former top CWs in the mix at HW. It's going to be very interesting seeing how they get on.
... right... he might improve in time... (in case he's properly promoted...)

Expecting a weakish opponent after the loss and layoff but could still be someone he can have an entertaining fight with. If Chisora wins this weekend that would make for a good scrap. June sounds too soon for Del to return though.

Gassiev is 25 yo, right?... if properly promoted he will make decent money at the HW, right?

Good signing for Matchroom USA and good plan stepping up at 25. We may see Usyk-Gassiev clash at the Heavies then

This post is 100% spot on. I'm excited to see Gassiev back, but he'll need to make some adjustments when taking on the heavies.
